Nail biting is a gross habit that I had from the time I was 8 until I was 14 and it comes back easily when you are under stress or nervous and when I was younger it was the skin spurns my nails! talk about gross but I stopped bye actually making my nails look nice and chewing gum! the your nails look better and your breath is nice and fresh all the time. also chewing gum helps on tests, some whiten teeth, of course is used to help stop smoking, and also can help you loose wait actually because you have flavor in your mouth already and your chewing so if you et when you bored pop a stuck of gum in there :)

Here are some more ways to help stop bogging your nails

- get some white vinegar or some nail bitting stud to put on your fingers. this stuff has a pungent smell so I didn't like using it but I would once a week to make my nails kinda grouse me out

- put band aids over nails when you are not in public or even when you are that's ok get some cute ones :)

- ok so I heard this one and I don't personally like it but if it works for you I'm happy. just take a day out of the week where you try hard not to bite your nails. the thing about this one is that when I used to I wouldn't think about it I just did it then some one would yell at me about it saying stop, but if you are aware of it maybe try chewing on gum when ever you get the urge to bite your nails.

-wear fake nails (<3 sadly this can be expensive but try Clair's nails:) )or gloves :)
