Emily's Point Of View

"Emilyyyyy," Annabel cried from her closet.

"What?" I sighed for the hundreth time.

For the past two hours Annabel has been trying to find the perfect outfit to wear. If you're wondering, yes, Josh called her. And yes, he was taking her out to lunch. Well, I guess it's more like dinner since he wasn't free until 6. It's only been a day since we met him on the boardwalk, and she was driving me insane.

First it was complaining about if he was going to call. Once he did, she was all happy and excited and wouldn't go to sleep until two in the morning. Guess who had to stay up with her? Yep, that's right, me. Where's Harry when I need him? Oh, that's right. He's been acting as if he's had something shoved up his ass for the past two days!

Sorry, I'm usually not this cranky. Not at all. I love Annabel to death. She's my best friend. But now, all she has been doing was complaining about her outfit. I guess this is just what best friends are for. And also, ever since we got here, I haven't been able to spend one night alone with Louis. There's always other people around and he's always so tired by 9 o'clock.

It's, annoying!

So thankfully, this was my night with him. Liam is taking Danielle out, which she just flew into Los Angeles that morning. Niall and Zayn are going to a club to get some women. And Harry, well, I actually don't know what Harry is doing. All I know is that he's going to be gone.

So yes. I was actually really excited for Annabel to go on her date.

"What about this?" she asked, now changed into a pair of white capris with a teal colored tank top that exposed a little bit of skin on her sides. She put on a pair of black sandals to match and a pair of swallow stud earrings.

She looked gorgeous. It was simple, yet elegant. That was definitely the one.

"This one. I love it," I told her sincerely.

"Are you just saying that so I'll shut up?" she frowned, slumping down in the chair.

"No, Annabel. Really. This outfit is perfect. Besides, you don't have that much time left to get ready. Josh will be here in half an hour," I told her. She nodded.

"Don't be nervous." I added. I could tell she was dying inside.

"But what if he doesn't like me? What if I do or say something stupid and mess everything up? I don't usually...go on dates. Especially with famous sexy boys." she rambled.

"Just be yourself. He'll like you, trust me. Apparently he already does if he asked you out!" I giggled. She smiled small and shrugged. "And you never know. He might help you get over Harry."

She scoffed. "I hope so. He's been such a twat lately." I laughed. I knew it would definitely take time for her to get over Harry, but this was a start. Dating other guys.

"Here. Let me do your hair," I told her. She grinned and turned around as I began to loosely waterfall braid her long, brown locks.

Josh finally picked up Annabel and they left for their date. Louis and I had some time to ourselves before she got back.

I slumped down on the couch next to him, sighing of relief.

"Finally," I giggled, tucking my feet underneath me.

"Is Annabel being... Annabel?" Louis chuckled.

"Always," I smiled. He did too and wrapped his arm around me pulling me into his side. It felt so relaxing just being in his arms, everything peaceful around us for once.
