Annabel's Point Of View

I walked subtly towards the coffee shop right down the street from school. It was a cute little shop on the corner with the best danishes. I felt a little nervous about meeting Kyle and I'm not exactly sure why. He's more like the laid back type, always just going with the flow.

I strutted down the sidewalk in a Nollie Panel body con skirt that hugged my hips perfectly. I wore a loose white sweater that was tucked into my skirt in the front but hung down in the back. I wore a comfy pair of black pumps and my hair was messily curled, my brown hair falling in waves past my breasts.

I felt pretty and girly, just how I liked it.

I walked into the coffee shop looking around. Kyle stood up signalling me over sitting in a booth right next to the window. I smiled at him before walking over and taking a seat in front of him.

"You look..amazing." Kyle grinned. I couldn't help but allow a smile to creep upon my face as my cheeks turned a shade of pink.

"Thank you. You don't look too bad yourself."

He was dressed in a navy blue sweater with a pair of khaki pants and brown combat boots. His hair lay messily atop his head but it worked for him. His hazel eyes shown brightly in the light.

I'll admit, he was fit.

"Your coffee," he ushered pushing a cup towards me. I smiled taking a sip of the refreshing liquid. It was nice and hot, perfect for the cool morning.

"So I think I owe you an apology. I'm not usually like that. I was just drinking and got carried away. I'm sorry if I made you feel violated in any way," Kyle said sincerely, straight to the point.

"No I should be the one apologizing. I led you on and let you think I wanted that but that was not me at all," I confirmed.

Kyle chuckled. "Okay, well maybe we should just start over. My name's Kyle. Kyle Norton." he grinned holding out his hand across the table.

I giggled and grabbed his hand. "Annabel. Annabel Smith."

"Well it's a pleasure meeting you, Annabel." he toothlessly smiled placing a small kiss on the back of my hand jokingly.

We continued to chat and laugh together when not too much later, two certain people had to show up.

Harry and Lyla.

How lovely.

Harry's Point Of View

Tuesday morning before school Lyla and I decided to go to a coffee joint right outside of town.

Lyla. My official girlfriend. Yes, I asked her the night before to be mine, and she agreed.

I was happy. I really was. I just expected to feel more excited. You know how in movies when the guy gets the girl and he's so full of life and just feels on top of the world? I don't know. Maybe that doesn't really exist.

But to be honest, I felt like I being was the shittiest best friend ever.

Ever since Lyla and I started seeing each other, I felt as if I was lacking as a friend towards Annabel. We used to hang out almost everyday and walk to and from school together. That was weeks ago.

Then again, she hasn't complained about it. I don't really know what's been up with her lately, though. She's been kind of weird. Every time we were around each other, she would never look me completely in the eyes. She would focus her attention somewhere else.

She always seemed as if she was in a daze. I needed to get to the bottom of it, but not at the moment. Because right as Lyla and I walked into the small coffee shop, hand in hand, there sat Annabel.
