Annabel
(A/N: So lets skip ahead a couple of days. The boys went and shot their episode of iCarly. Emily and Annabel just explored LA and went to the beach. It's now the night of the KCA's.)
I took a deep breath and took a final look in the mirror. The girl standing before me was completely transformed. After hours of curling my hair and putting on make-up, making sure every little piece of my outfit was perfect, I had looked like a completely different person.
In a good way, I guess.
I felt beautiful for once. My dark brown hair was curled to perfection. Not in tight curls, but loose. They flowed down my back and a piece was pinned neatly back by a small, white bow. I had bought an elegant light pink strapless dress with pearl designs in the middle. It fit snug around my body, revealing my curves perfectly.
From being a dancer and in gymnastics for nine years, I think it did my body well. I was okay with my curves.
Black pumps covered my feet, raising my height at least three inches. For jewelry, I went simple and wore a pair of matching pink feathered earrings.
My make-up wasn't too overdone; with liquid liner on my top eye lid and a few layers of mascara coating my eyelashes. A sheer sparkly eye shadow made my brown eyes pop. Just a swipe of foundation and blush on my face with shimmery lip gloss to finish it off.
I really did feel beautiful.
"Annabel, are you about ready?" Emily asked softly as she stepped into my room.
She looked stunning in a grey one shoulder dress. There was a slit in the middle of one side revealing a little bit of exposed skin. She wore a pair of red pumps and red earrings to go with it. Her light brown hair was in tight coils that fell down her back which was also waterfall braided. Her make-up was very natural with a very neutral eye shadow, mascara, and blush.
"You look gorgeous!" she took the words right from my mouth.
I giggled and replied with, "I was going to say the same! Louis won't be able to keep his hands off of you!"
I saw a blush rise across her face. "Well, Harry won't be able to look away from you!"
Harry. All night I was wondering what he would think. Would he think I was pretty? He can still think other girls are pretty even if he has a girlfriend, right? I know I shouldn't be trying so hard to impress him, but deep inside, I just wanted him to look at me for once and just be speechless. Although I knew that wouldn't happen.
"Well, they're all waiting out in the lobby. So we should go." she smiled small, holding out her arm. I grabbed my clutch that held my phone and a little bit of cash, and linked my arm with hers.
We got in the elevator and on the way down, I couldn't stop shaking. I was so nervous, and I'm not even sure why. All too soon, the elevator stopped and the doors opened.
I looked up from my shaky and slightly sweaty hands just in time to meet Harry's eyes. He, too, had looked up just as the elevator opened, and his expression changed when he did.
I couldn't exactly tell what it changed to. His smile faded and he just stared at me, his eyes trailing up my body for the second time that week. When we locked eyes, it's as if everything stopped around me. A small smile broke across his face, and I couldn't help but smile back.
How I wished to know what he was thinking at that moment.
I snapped out of my trance and stepped out of the elevator along with Emily and approached the boys, who I now noticed were staring as well.
