One Week later

"Love, have you got everything ready for tomorrow?" my mom shouts as I recheck everything making sure I haven't left anything out. I jump on my suitcase to shut it since I have too much I need to take so my mom swapped out my suitcase for a bigger one.

There still wasn't enough room... TT_TT

She rolled her eyes, snatching a top from my grasp and starts rolling it, dumping my case of overflowing clothes, shoes, essentials and miscellaneous items that I found essential to take with me on this new journey.

Tomorrow, I was heading off to South Korea to become a korean pop idol after I was contacted by the CEO of a small company, asking me if I was interested in training to become a singer; which has been a lifelong dream of mine.

"You'll be back with Heechul!" my mother exclaims, small dots of tears running down her cheeks while fitting in another pair of jeans and I nod, gathering all the coats I own because it's been four years since I last saw him.

Yes, I am the younger sister of Kim Heechul; the sassy, girly looking one in a large group called Super Junior that was working on debuting around 2005, he was casted after sending in a video of him dancing to a HOT song.

"That's the last of them." she sighs, staring at the suitcase she pressed down to close and stares at me, eyes filled of happiness but a tinge of sadness since I would now also be halfway across the world.

"I'm so proud of you... you're just like your brother." I wipe her tears away and bring her into a tight hug, trying not to break down as well before placing my case in the living room and going to enjoy my last dinner with her.

The Next Day

"Are you sure you've got everything?" my mother paces around, she made me get up an hour earlier so she could have another panic attack about if I've gathered everything and it took thirty minutes to stop her from emptying my bag for the tenth time.

"I'm positive mom," I hold her
"I can't believe... that you're growing up so fast." she sniffles, standing with me in the living room as I savor the last glance of home for a long time and reminisce all the memories I know here.

Picking up my case, I smile at my mom and head out the door, "Goodbye... I'll see you soon." I whisper and close the door.

At Airport

I checked in and it was time to depart from my mother after spending my last fleeting minutes eating McDonalds for breakfast. I stood by the gate that seperated passengers from family members and friends that came to send off their loved ones.

This was going to be tough.

"Goodbye sweetheart, tell your brother I say hello." she places a gentle kiss on my lips and holds my hands, trying to capture these last seconds with me as I slowly let my hands slide out from her grasp; her comforting grasp as I pick up my carry-on and walk towards the gate.

"Bye Mom! I'll miss you!" I shout, her figure escaping my view as I start searching for my gate and overhear the announcement:
"Passengers travelling to South Korea on Korean Air; flight number KA176 please board at gate 8. That is passengers travelling to South Korea on Korean Air; flight number KA176 please board at gate 10."

Stepping up to the attendant, she scans my ticket and allows me through to board the airplane as I find my seat and settle down, taking in one last glimpse of LA and see my mother waving out to me so I wave back.

Here I come Korea and to the new group of people I'll be calling family
