Luna

She was very beautiful her hair was dark as the night and her purple eyes were very pretty and unique her pale skin was also nice. I felt myself staring at her and quickly looked back at the ground that made her laugh I liked her laugh it was nice and sweet. Her name was very unique. Vega a star so pretty and shining through the night " so umm Luna" I looked up at her trying to think of something to say as we just stood there. Vega, I mean star finally spoke, "what do you umm do for fun?" clearly not knowing what to say as I didn't know how to respond " I like to sing" which I have no idea why I said that because I never tell anyone that. " that's cool" she said I kept my head down trying not to blush. I didn't know what to say to her " what about you!" she looked slightly surprised " I umm I like to draw," we went back to the just standing there looking at each other. Come on Luna your usually not this shy just say something anything! Here I am speechless for no reason god just say something! I came up with the courage to finally speak but the lunch bell went off " I got to go to class I will umm see you later" star said before walking off to her class. Dammit, I feel so dumb now as I walked to my class which was English. I was quiet throughout the entire class I didn't speak or do any of the work the only thing that was on my mind was Star. She was amazing in every way but something was odd about her I couldn't put my finger on. I shrugged it off as I continued to think about her throughout the class. The bell went off as I went to my final class and as soon as I walked into the room where she was sitting at the very back by the window. She had headphones in and didn't seem to care about what was happening in the class. I quickly without hesitation walked up to her and sat in the seat right beside her she looked at me as I gave a small smile back and waved. Star looked away and continued to look out the window where it was now raining. For the rest of the class went on as I every now and then would glance at her and try to hear what she was listening to " ok that's all for today class" I heard the teacher say as the bell went off. I walked out of the class and felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around to see Star smiling " hey" she said sounding happy " umm hi?" I said shocked that she would talk to me " sorry about earlier" she looked around the hall " it's alright" I quickly told her. She motioned me to follow her down the hall as we walked together side by side before she asked me " want to listen?" while holding her headphones towards me "yes please" I said sounding happy I took the earphone and put it in my ear. The music wasn't half bad it was definitely something I've never heard before I think it was rock? She looked at me before saying " do you like it?" She asked sounding a bit worried " ya it's not bad" I told her in response as she smiled in response to my answer. We walked outside to were it was raining I gave her back the earphone " my dads here see you tomorrow?" seeing my dads car across the street waiting for me " ok I walk home anyway" she told me. Walk in this rain is she kidding "in this pouring rain?"I said sounding very worried " don't worry I'll be fine," Star said before running off down the street. I stepped into the car and sat down in the passenger seat as my little sister was in the back " so who was that?" My dad asked me "the new girl her name is a star" I said sounding happier then I needed to. He looked at me with a smile " that's nice" he smiled at me before putting the car in gear and started to drive. I was quiet most of the ride as we headed home. I swung open the front door to be meet with my older brother Curtis " hey Luna" my brother looks a lot like me except he has a dark brown hair colour like my dad where I have a light blue that I dyed obviously " hey Curt" but before he could make a conversation I went to my room and closed the door behind me. I tossed my bag on the floor and jumped onto my bed. I looked at the ceiling as I laid there looking into space. An hour went by when I heard a knock at the door " come in" I yell out to whoever was on the other side. My older sister maze walked in. Maze has the same hair colour as Curtis her hair was long and wavy as her eyes were an ocean blue she wore makeup a lot and was wearing a Tee shirt that had some band logo and ripped jeans " what's up little Luna?" I'm not little " nothing really just lying here" I responded back at her " I know that look what's wrong?" She asked as she closed the door behind her and sat down on the edge of my bed. I looked at her " there's a new girl in school" looking at her and then back at the ceiling. She thought for a second then responded: " you like her?" I again couldn't speak the answer as I really didn't know what to say.Trying to think of words to fill my mouth I looked at her "hello?" I couldn't think of anything to say "no I don't, she's just a friend of mine" Maze didn't look like she believed me "sure" she rolled her eyes. Maze walked out the door to leave me to my thoughts alone. I don't like her like the way maze thought ok why am I lying to myself I like a bit like that but it's not like I have a super crush on her or anything. I think an hour passed when my door swung open "Luna can you help me?" my little sister Emily asked me. Emily was 6 years old and she had brown eyes like my dad her hair was a blondish brown "sure with what?" I lifted myself to sit on the edge of the bed to look at her. She looked at me with her big eyes "math" she smiled at me " umm ok well what's the question?" I asked her "10 plus 15" I got down onto the floor and looked at her "that's not that hard" "I just want you to help". Spending about 5 minutes helping Emily with the question she left and I decided to go to my computer and watch youtube for a while. Looking at the clock it was 7 that meant dinner "Luna food" I heard my mother yell up the stairs well right on queue. I ran downstairs to see everyone sitting at the table my mom who probably just got back from work was standing there. She has a small build like me and golden blond hair that went down to her hips. I sat down and looked at my plate it was potato and something I had no idea what it was called " it's spinach" I looked up at my mom clearly she knew that I was staring at it" is it safe to eat" I joked smiling at her but she simply rolled her eyes " yes it's safe to eat luna" she walked away to grab her plate and sat down to join everyone else. I took a bit of the spinach and quickly regretted it I hated it! Nobody talked during the meal until Maze spoke up "Luna has a new friend" she looked at me as my face got red "well that's nice what's her name?" my mom asked me " umm it's Star her name is Star" I looked around at everybody "That's a nice name" Emily now getting interested in the conversation "ya" making sure that nobody heard me. I listened to everyone asking questions about Star like what she's like and stuff like that until my head started to hurt and started to get worse. My head got so bad and there was a ringing in my ears it was someone saying something I couldn't understand they spoke in a sinister way and just like that the world around me changed. Everything looked red and everyone's eyes oh god they where black no colour as they all looked at me with smiles across there faces I couldn't take it I felt dizzy and my eyes slowly were heavy the fear was overwhelming when everything went black.
