The truth (part 1)

~Luna's perspective~

I stood there looking for her waiting as I began to think she wouldn't have come today so I walked to the bench and sat down. It's weirdly cold today but it's nice anyway so I lean back on the bench and close my eyes to calm down as I haven't realized I was breathing heavily. I did run down the hall to get here though I'm to lost in thought to realize that someone was standing in front of me so I look up to meet Star's bright purple eyes. "hi" I said and motioned for her to sit next to me and she did but looked at the ground right away "so" I tried to start the conversation but she cut me off "I'll explain everything but not here with so many people around just ...just promise me you won't leave me or at least hate me or just don't  tell anyone  I really just enjoy having you around and about  what you saw" she stopped and I heard a small whimper escaped her lips as she was shaking a bit. I put my arms around her and pulled her into a hug "hey you don't have to tell me if you don't want to" I tried to make my voice as calm and soothing and she looked up at me. "no you need to know but like I said not here" she got up after saying that "come on" I got up to follow her a bit scared at what she was going to tell me hoping that she had nothing to do with what happened and she was just at the wrong place wrong time but that wouldn't explain the blood being all over her in the places it was dripping from like her mouth. I try to shake that thought as I follow her past the school and towards the woods next to it. We walked for a while the dry leaves crunching underneath our feet as we walked. The whole time though I haven't realized she was holding my hand as we walked. She was in front of me dragging me along but was still holding my hand. I felt a smile forming on my face but her hand was fairly cold maybe it's the cold? I was too lost in thought to notice that she has stopped as I bumped into her and her hand let go of mine. She walked into the open area to look around trying to see if anybody was around before looking back at me. "I know you've been thinking it so just ask the question"  "I.. umm what?" I asked confused as to what she was talking about but she just rolled her eyes and it hit me "oh, umm did you have something to do with the death of the nurse?" I asked in a whisper "yes" she said back. I could feel my throat go dry as I try to speak as to what she said "wha..wha...what do you mean by that" I crooked out. She only rolled her eyes again "what else would I mean I fucking killed her ok" she yelled at me as I take a step back from her. My eye's wide as a tear starts to roll down my cheek. I couldn't believe what I heard taking another step back from her. She had a hand's on her head not looking at me to see that I was backing away but she looked up  at me to finally notice that I was backing away from her but stopped when she saw me. "you think I would hurt you?" she said sounding a bit sad "I don't know" I said back not looking away from her eyes that where staring at me. She took a step back as I took one back as tear's started to wield in her eyes "I'll let you ask anything you want and I'll give the honest truth" "ok" my voice coming out weak. "there's something you need to know before that but please don't run off and just let me explain" my eyes slowly became a bit  blurry from the tears "o..ok" I tried to speak but was hard as my throat was dry and hurt.  "I don't know how to say this another way but..."  she stopped as more tears built up in her eyes just like mine but for a different reason as I was crying because I couldn't believe she killed someone as for her I have no idea. "the body was drained of most of it's blood and was also on the floor and wall closes to the body as if somebody drank from the body like a serial killer" the words of the woman on the news played in my head, the words that told the world how the woman was killed I tried to force back the thought of what Star could be because that was impossible, fake, not real. "I know you're thinking it"  I jump as she said that "I.."  I try to say  "I'm a vampire simple" she spoke like it was nothing. I let out a small laugh "is this a fucking joke they don't exist" I tried to sound pissed but only sounded weak. She rolled her eyes again and closed her eyes for a second before opening them again to reveal them being pitch black as if that wasn't enough she opened her mouth and showed me the fangs in her mouth as she hissed at me. "You're... you're a... vampire" I choked.
