Snap out

~Luna's perpective~

I hit her hard saying that as pain is clear on her face by my words but she just shrugs it off and looks back at me. "What is wrong with you?" she spat at my face holding on to my shoulders so I couldn't get out of her grasp, her nails digging into them. I can't feel the pain she is putting on my shoulder's, god why can't I feel anything. I can feel myself falling into the dark again, no not again! I force myself to cry again letting tears fall "I'm sorry" I hear her say in a whisper I can barely hear. Without warning, she wraps her arms around me "you killed her" I say trying to get out of the murder's grasp but she just hugs me tighter "I don't know what you're talking about I didn't hurt whoever you're talking about" she keeps her voice calm even though she wants to yell. I'm slowly calming down a bit now but not a lot the anger for what she has done is still there.

"Lariyah you killed her, you said so yourself"

 "no, I didn't she's probably at her house or something"

"but you said, I don't understand"

"I promise you she's fine"

I sob more leaning into her burying my head into her chest and she returns the hug shifting so she's sitting on the floor cradling me in her arms. "I'm sorry" she whispered over and over again hugging tightly like she was afraid to let go of me. I try to speak but it comes out as a choked laugh "what's wrong with me?"

"I don't know I wish I did I really do"

I can feel her shaking as her grip tightens and I can feel her rest her head on top of mine. I shift so I can look up at her and she looks at me her purple eyes glossed over with tears rolling down her cheeks. She tries to give me a weak smile before resting her forehead against mine, I close my eyes listening to her breathing. A pain begins to start in my head slowly getting stronger, I let out a whimper as I feel Star pull out of the hug holding me by my shoulders again "what's wrong?"

I don't answer as I shake my head but the pain only grows "It hurts" I choke out "what hurts?" I stay silent shaking my head again. I begin to choke it's getting harder to breathe, now my chest hurts to go with my head. Star pulls me into her chest again this time she slowly begins to run her hand through my hair. 

"Breathe ok just try to breathe"

I nod trying to slow down my breath trying to match hers "see just like that." I can tell that she is smiling through the tone of her voice. The pain in my head is slowly going away and I find my head is clearing up a bit, I'm slowly able to think straight.

I relax into her, snuggling into her even though we are in some alleyway it's nice. "you are going to need to tell me everything that you know and I'll try to talk more calmly this time" I just nod in response. Star begins to get up from the ground but I wrap my arms around her neck bringing her back to the ground. Well not all the way to the ground, I only pulled her head down a bit so her face is 1 centimetre away from mine as I give her a cheesy smile her nose just touching mine. She seems to be struggling to find words and I think her face is going a light pink "can't speak?" I ask her moving slightly closer just to screw with her.

 Oh, my god, her face is bright red now like a damn fire truck I can't let but start laughing, but I end up losing my grip on her as I collapse on the ground and that's when Star begins to laugh at me. She leans down to give me her hand to help me up but I have a better idea, I grab her hand pulling her down as she falls down landing on top of me. Her hands are on the sides of my head so she didn't go crashing down on me "hi" I say in an innocent way but she just got off me keeping her eye's on a wall and not me. "Come on let's head to my place and talk there" I giggle at what she said "shut up already would ya" she mumbled before starting to walk down the alleyway and I just skip along beside her. I have no idea why I'm in a good mood but I'm ok with it.
