"so cody what does it say on that piece of paper you kept dropping out of your pocket during the game?" i laughed.

my girlfriend y/n has always left me positive notes in my backpack before all my games. she has done this ever since we started dating and i played a horrible game and was frustrated at myself. the next day i found a note in my backpack from her and they kept on coming from that day on.

i appreciate them more than she will ever know. they help me everyday. she keeps me grounded and sane.

"you are worth more than you know and capable of more than you think, i love you. its a note from my girlfriend, and i guess it just kept on slipping out i dont know." i scratched the back of my head while laughing.

"pretty special to you huh?"

"all of them are." i smiled.

in this moment i realized how truly lucky i am to have someone that constantly cares about me no matter what. she never failed.
