She took his hand and they ran through the park.
The morning sun was out and it warmed their skin.
Out of breath, she fell onto the ground and he fell beside her.
He shuffled to his side and wrapped his arm around her waist.
She looked up and smiled.
His hair was a mess and in the bright morning sun, he looked more handsome.
He took a deep breath and said, "I'm asking you to trust me."
He took her hand, pushed the sleeve up and softly ran his finger over the bruise on her wrist.
She nodded her head, it was time.
"I'll tell you the story about the man I loved."
