Grace's POV
Emily and I talked for a little but about our day and but are interrupted when I hear my dad call to us from downstairs.
"Grace I need you to come down I have something to explain to you. You too Emily," my dad yells.
"Ok we're coming," I reply.
Emily and I head downstairs and sit at the kitchen table where we join my father, Thomas, and Logan.
"Ok. Now that you're all here, I wanted to answer any questions you have about the new house and where you'll be living. So do you have any questions?" My dad asks.
"Dad, I know I already asked this, but what are we going to do about school?" I ask back.
He sighs. "I guess I do owe you an explanation about that. Well obviously you can't go to your old school, so you'll have to go to a different school."
Me and Emily exchange glances. I can see sadness creep into her eyes.
"I understand you girls are going to want to see each other and you don't want to switch schools. I bet Calissa would feel the same as well. I can assure you girls though, that Emily, if you decided you'd like to live with us, I want you to know that that's ok with me. Calissa as well. Yes it would be a lot of people but it's good experience for people your age. What you could do is get a job to help pay off the cost of the house. This is just an idea though because I know you want to stay together and I don't want to separate you guys."
I clearly think about this for a while. If Emily wanted to, she could convince her parents to let her stay, even just for the summer. I look at Emily and she's already smiling. I know she's considering it. "We'll think about it," I say to my dad.
"Alright anymore questions?"
Thomas asks a bunch if questions about this job he's going to take and house care and much more. Logan barely asked one. Emily and I leave while Thomas and my dad are in the middle of discussing a question.
I quickly take a shower before I help Emily set up a place for her to sleep in my room. We have a couple extra rooms she could sleep in but we still need to clean and organize them. I lay out a bunch of pillows and blankets for her to use on the couch in my room. It's not a big fancy couch. It's just a simple one she can use while she's here.
When we are done getting in our sleepwear, we talk and watch tv and YouTube videos until about 1:30 in the morning.
When we wake up, I get up right away to get ready to spend the day with Wes. I put on a Cali Palms Women's Swing Tank with black shorts over a pink Roxy Bikini. I slip on some sandals and decide to leave my hair down again. I'm just too lazy to style it right now.
Emily finishes getting ready shortly after me. I grab phone along with money, just in case, and hide it in my pocket as we run downstairs. I quickly grab us a bowl of cereal since I'm too lazy to make something. When we finish our breakfast, we say goodbye to my brothers and my dad as we run out the door. Emily and I eventually go our separate ways when we get closer to the beach. Apparently she's meeting Keaton somewhere and they're going to hang out or something. Ok, they're either secretly dating or they're going to stalk us again.
I'm going with the second one.
As I walk along the sand, I spot Wesley standing near the water on his phone. "Hey Wes," I say as I run over to him.
"Hey Grace," he says as he raps his arms around me faster then I can process. I laugh. He always does that, and it's really adorable. He pulls back with a giant smile. "Oh by the way, let me see your phone"
