"I want you gone."- Klaus now turned to Hayley.

Hayley ignored him and went up the stairs to the apartment.

Klaus closed his eyes, trying to calm down. He now looked at Camille and said-"Don't open yet."

The blond bartender assistant nodded.

Klaus took a deep breath and went up the stairs to the apartment as well.

Elena, still shell-shocked somewhat drove off home, but before that she called Alex asking if she can cover for her, as she needed a couple of ours regarding a private matter.

"Yeah, you're fine. You have no surgeries scheduled today. Joel will cover for your patients. Are you all right?"- Alex asked.

"Yes. Sorry, I got another call."- Elena said.

"Sure."- Alex said and hung up.

Even before arriving to her apartment, Elena called Bonnie, and in one breath now poured out what had happened.

"Wow!"- Bonnie exclaimed-"that's a dealbreaker."

"I know what the deal is between them, and - I know, it's not like this is the 19th century, but- you know what I am like."

"Yeah, certain things are sacred to you. And- well, if he told you- you would not be with him."- Bonnie said.

"He had no ring, and - it's not like you have to have it."- Elena's mind now was swarming with different thoughts-"The guys from the hospital. Alex, Zach, they like know him for - the last six years. They didn't know- I guess."

"You see. They probably broke up or whatever, just didn't get divorced."- Bonnie now said.

"Oh God, I majorly overeacted."- Elena now stated.

"Emotions overload?!"- Bonnie said rhetorically.

"Yeah. I am so trying to balance them. And I was doing so good."- Elena said-"he'll probably think I am manic-depressive."

"Elena, it'ok. He won't."

"Huh, it's not like I have a crazy past. Ooooh, I hate when I can't keep my emotions in check."- Elena now said regretting having left Klaus' the way she did.

"You will go to him, and you will talk, and you will sort it out."- Bonnie said supportive.

Elena took a deep breath and said-"It's so good that I have you, and that I can dump all my silly on you."

"That's what friends are for."- Bonnie said and now added-"talking about friends. Damon called."

"Oh, ok. When? How is he?"

"He is in Canada actually."- Bonnie replied.

"Why? Something tells me that something is going on?!"- Elena now remarked.

"Nothing for you to worry about. That life is over for you."- Bonnie reminded Elena that she left the supernatural thing behind her, wanting a normal life.

"But, you are my friends and I want to know what is going on with you."

"It's vampire and witch business, and you are no longer part of it. We agreed, Elena. He is fine, actually better than fine."- Bonnie said-"ok, I got to go, Enzo just arrived. And you go talk to Klaus! Everything will be fine. Later."

"Later."- Elena said hanging up.

She was totally cool now and played with her phone wanting to ring Klaus, but decided not to, just yet. She then went to change and soon was in the hospital, carrying on with her work.
