Elentári sighed as she laid down on her bed. After Thorin's gentle words, the elleth had found herself at loss of words with a surprised expression on her features. Thorin had smiled but Elen couldn't believe that his words were true. Yet the sparkles in his eyes and the softness of his heart proved her wrong.

The dwarf king had chuckled at Elen's dumbfounded expression and slowly decided to retrieve for the night. The dwarf had taken her hand into his larger one and had brought it to his lips, gently laying a warm kiss on her knuckles. After what felt like hours of staring at each other, Thorin had wished his elleth a good night and left her confused before her door.

Elentári had changed into her night gown and laid down on her bed, feeling confused and warm at the same time. Could she trust him? Could she really trust his words or were they just a rush of guilt from the dwarf lord? Elen sighed and without noticing, she fell asleep wondering if she should have told him...

She cared for him as well.

However, the elleth's dreams weren't filled with happiness and images of Thorin's deep blue eyes. He dreams were filled with flashbacks, images of unknown lands floating in darkness and among stars. The world was different around the young elleth and images of wars, suffering, pain, grief but also of love, births, happiness and light flashed before her eyes. Elen's breathing became raged as she tried to look at her hands but saw nothing. Why was she faceless? Why was she seeing the world from above? She felt so far away and yet so close. Elen couldn't understand what was happening, she tried to scream but her voice only rang out in her own head. No one was there to hear nor to acknowledge her distress.

"My star." A deep resonating voice called from everywhere around her. Elen couldn't find the source of the voice until a heavy weight pushed her forcefully toward the world, her screams filling her own mind as the speed crushed her. Elen gasped as she saw the ground approaching rapidly and as she was about to hit the ground the elleth screamed and sat up in her bed in a start.

Elen's heart was beating hard against her chest, small droplets of sweat slowly running down her forehead. She looked down at her hands, scared to find nothing but the darkness of the milky way. She let out a sigh of relief as her eyes landed on her shaky pale hands then closed her eyes and wiped the sweat off her forehead. Elen trembled, feeling shaken by her dream. She didn't understand what it was supposed to mean but she knew that something was wrong. However, the elleth needed to forget. She couldn't bare the empty feeling in the back of her head, as if something was missing from her memory. Elen got up on her shaky legs and walked out of her room, wandering through the peaceful hallways of Rivendell.
