I sat in the nurse's office while she was taking care of my eye it didn't take very long. She said "There will be a little bit of bruising." I nodded and she let me out of her office and I walked into the main office both Patrick and Henry were sent out of the Principal's office and I tried to talk to Patrick "Patri-." "Miss Davenport can you step into my office for a minute?" I heard Principal Blackburn's voice call me over. I sighed and walked into his office."Okay Miss Davenport as I can see that you have been a straight A student and you have not been sent to my office before for any reason and I've noticed in the past month your grades have been slipping. your teacher has told me that you've had a change in your group of friends. Would you like to explain what's going on?" I shook my head "No there's nothing wrong." The principal nodded and asked "Then miss Davenport would you like to explain what happened with Miss Keene this morning?" I smiled and said "She started the fight by running that big ass mouth of hers so I shut it for her." "What did she say to you Kassidy?" the smile faded from my face as I told him about what Gretta said to me this morning and he said that he was going to have a word with her and let me leave his office but not before telling me that I was going to have detention for the rest of the week along with Patrick, Henry and possibly Gretta too. I walked out of the office and went looking for Patrick but instead of finding Patrick I ran into Henry and I asked "Hey are you alright?" He looked at me and said "Yeah I'm fine." I looked down and said "Henry I'm sorry I didn't think it would end up like this He wasn't supposed to get into a fight with y-." Henry cut me off and said "Kas that's the problem You never think do you?" my head shot up and I looked at him with shock. "Oh come on, Henry it's not like you didn't want to do it too." He shook his head and said "Yeah just cause I wanted to doesn't mean we had to I mean for god's sake you should have known better Kas." I rolled my eyes and walked away from him and went to find Patrick. I ran everywhere in the school and didn't find him I asked both Victor and Belch if they knew where he was and Victor said that he thought he saw him outside, I told him thanks and ran to go catch up with Patrick and to my surprised I found him but to my dismay I saw him leaning in to kiss another random girl and he had his hand up her shirt. He had the biggest smile I'd ever seen on his face. He looked over at me and didn't even look guilty or even shocked to see me there. I walked over and grabbed his hand and pulled him away from her I dragged him to the middle of the school yard so we were alone. He said "Didn't I tell you to stay away from me?" I sighed and said "Yes but listen to me Patrick. Don't try to interrupt me and just fucking listen to me." I had tears welling up in my eyes and said "We both need to stop this shit right the fuck now I know I was wrong for what I did. and I'm not saying what you did was right either. I can't keep going on like this you mean too much to me and I can't lose you. You were right no other person can make me feel the way you do. There is a thrill of loving you. You are the thrill of my life you make my life exciting and I can't live without it I can't live without you. I love you more than anything on the fucking planet, I love you with all of my heart and I would die without you. That's why I tried to kill myself because I thought I wasn't good enough for you anymore and you were going to leave me for that girl but now I wouldn't blame you." He stood there and stared at me, smiled and pushed a strand of hair behind my ear and whispered "Good cause I'm leaving you." When he said that my breath was knocked out of me. Tears fell from my eyes as he walked away from me.
