The next morning I woke up sprawled out in the middle of the living room floor. Being momentarily blinded by the light shining in through the window. I got up and walked upstairs and took a shower really quick then got dressed I threw on a short dark blue skirt and a white button up shirt with some white knee high socks and a pair of converse and a headband to pull my hair back out of my face. I brushed my teeth, then walked out the house, locking the door as I walked out I heard bells I turned around to see the losers club riding their bikes stopping in front of my house. I waved over to them "Morning guys." I smiled at them and they called back "Morning!" I ran over and Richie said "You can ride with me if you want." I smiled and said "Yeah sure."I walked over and climbed up on the handlebars. I leaned back so that my back was on Richie's chest. "Are you ready?" He asked and I said "Only if you are." He smiled and said "Alright then hot stuff." I felt heat rise to my cheeks when he called me hot stuff. I thought to myself 'It's just a pet name. Stop freaking out about it.' The ride to school was peaceful except Richie trying to get on Eddie's nerves the whole time. I rolled my eyes then we made it to school and I hopped off of the bicycles handlebar "Wow Richie I had no idea you were such a responsible driver." I said mockingly Then he shot back "I'm only that careful when I'm carrying such precious cargo." I smiled and said "Smooth Tozier." He smiled back and said "Thanks." Then Stanley cleared his throat and said "Now that you two are done flirting can we go?" "We weren't flirting." I tried to protest and Stan said in a playful tone "Yeah sure." I rolled my eyes and lightly punched him in the arm. "K-Kas Do Y-y-you want to S-sit with us at l-l-lunch?" Bill asked. I smiled and said "Yeah I'd love to it sounds good to me. I'll see you guys later, okay?" They nodded and waved "Bye see you later." I walked into the school building and walked straight to my locker I threw my things in my locker and pulled out a notebook, sketchbook and other things I would need for my first class. Then I closed the door of my locker and I looked over to my left and jumped when I saw Henry's face. I grabbed my chest "Holy shit Henry you scared the hell out of me." He gave me a weak smile and said "Sorry about that Kas." I laughed a little and said "It's fine what's up?" He looked down, then right back up, but avoided eye contact then asked "Umm What are you doing after school?" I shrugged and said "I haven't made plans yet. Why?" He shook his head and said "I uh never mind, I'll see you around." He turned and walked off. I thought 'That was weird.' I walked to my class walking past the losers club I messed up Richie's hair and kissed Eddie on the cheek "Bye boys." They stared at me like they just saw the love of their life. I smiled and walked in my class, then I remembered that Patrick was in this class with me and he sits right beside me. I sighed and just sat down, opened up my sketchbook and started to scribble in it. Class started, I just ignored everything that was going around me class was pretty quiet then the door swung open everyone's eyes shot over to the door, I didn't really care all too much what was going on then the teacher said "Mr Hockstetter late again I see." He walked over and just sat at his desk I felt his eyes burning holes in me he was staring through me. I looked over at him and asked "Do you need something?" I came out a little more rudely than I meant it to come out. He continued to stare he looked down at my desk and smiled, then looked away with a grin on his face I was beyond confused, then I looked down and realized what I was sketching was Patrick. I slammed my book shut and heard him chuckle I rolled my eyes and pulled out my classwork and tried to ignore him. The bell finally rang and I darted out of class out into the hall and away from Patrick. I ran to my locker and threw my things in my locker and sped off to my second class which was art. I walked in and sat next to Stanley he looked over smiled and asked "You alright?" I offered him a halfhearted smile and said "Yeah I'm fine." Our teacher lets us work on our projects Stan pulled out his sketchbook and started to add detail to the bird he had previously drawn. I watched over his shoulder, smiling I said "That's really good Stanny." He rolled his eyes. "Thanks Kassidy, What are you working on?" I shrugged and said "I don't know I think I might start on a painting." "Sounds like fun." He said I nodded and walked away to grab some paint and a canvas. "Can I work outside Mrs Martin?" She said that I could and then Stanley walked out with me and we spent the whole class period out side. The bell rang telling us that it was time for lunch. Stan and I walked to catch up with the rest of the losers club. When I ran into someone I fell on my ass. "I'm sorry I wasn't watching where I was going." Then I looked up to see Patrick standing there looking down at me with a shit eating grin.
