Patrick Pov
We walked closer to her house and there was a shit load of cop cars surrounding the place. I turned to her and placed my hands on her face and said "Go back to Henry's now." she tried to tell me that she wasn't going to leave me there but I told her Go in a more serious tone. She nodded and said "Be careful." I smiled at her and she gave me a quick kiss before she ran down the street and I walked up to one of the of the officers and I asked "What the hell is going on?" The officer turned and said "Neighbors called said One man and one woman inside gunshots were heard suspect is an Elliott Davenport woman's Ex husband." My eyes widened and I said "Let me go in." The officer stopped and I said "That's my Girlfriend's mother." The officer held me back and I fought against him and broke free from his grip and ran to the house and knocked on the door calmly. I heard his voice "Who the hell is it?" I calmly answered "Uh it's me Patrick.I'm coming in." I walked in and the scene was horrid there was blood everywhere and the furniture was flipped over bookshelves was knocked over and Kas's mom was laying on the ground bleeding. I tried to reason with Kas's dad "Elliot put the gun down and let me get her out of here."
Elliot POV
I heard a knock on the door and asked "Who the hell is it?" Then I heard the voice on the other side of the door "It's me Patrick. I'm coming in." I allowed him in the house I knew the place was surrounded by police the damn neighbors alerted the cops and now I didn't know what to do, but I didn't really care I knew she was good as gone and what I was about to do next was going to make everything fine to get back at Rena for everything she did to me and everything she ever took from me.
Kassidy Pov
When Patrick told me to go back to Henry's I didn't want to leave his side, but I knew better than to argue with him but I did even though he made me leave. I ran off, but then I stopped and I felt strange, I didn't want to listen I mentally fought myself and I turned around and ran back to my place and I didn't see Patrick anywhere I asked the Officer if he had seen a tall boy with dark hair around here and he said "Yeah the idiot ran inside." I was confused and I asked "What's going on?" The officer explained me what happened. I felt my heart drop out of my chest. I ran to the house and walked in and I saw my house wrecked and my dad standing over my mother's motionless body. I felt tears starting to well up in my eyes and my dad said "Hey there Kassidy." Patrick turned and looked at me and gave me a look that said "What are you doing here?" I stepped closer and my dad pointed the gun at me and said "Don't move Kas." I stopped moving and looked at him "Okay Okay I'm sorry Dad, we need to get mom out of here." He shook his head "No she's not going anywhere." I took a step forward and it made him re point the gun at me. I stopped "Dad if you don't let her out of here she's going to die." He laughed and said "Good." He pulled the hammer back on the gun in his hand and pulled the trigger and I fell to the floor.
Patrick POV
I watched as Kas was arguing with her father trying to reason with him to let us take her mother out so she could get help. "If you don't let her out of here she's going to die." Kas said then Her dad said "Good." pulling back the hammer on the gun and the pulled the trigger still pointing the gun at Kassidy I ran over and jumped on her. I promised that no one was going to hurt her nobody will ever hurt her unless it was me. We landed on the floor and I felt pain shoot through my shoulder, then there were more gun shots and I heard her father's body hit the floor. Pain was what I pretty much felt the entire time I was awake. But as the minutes passed it was starting to drift in and out and I kept falling asleep or passing out I couldn't really tell. Just kept putting my head down and closing my eyes because it felt so good a moment of relief. It is really hard to describe the pain, I felt frozen on the floor and couldn't move or breathe well at all. It felt like my guts had been ripped out of my body.I was going in and out of consciousness. Kassidy turned me over and looked down at me trying to keep me awake and then the officers rushed into the house and the officers picked me up and ran with me somewhere and my last memory was hearing Kassidy screaming. "Patrick No you don't leave me, I need you.Please I love you." Then I drifted into darkness.
