Guess Who's Back! Yep It's me. I haven't finished the one shots but I've caught up enough where I wasn't completely behind. I want to say I'm sorry for the long wait. so here's the new chapter.
*******************************************Kassidy Pov**************************************** I sat there holding his hand still by his side. I had left once or twice once to wash his blood off of my body and another time to see how Butch was doing since he just lost my mother I knew they weren't together anymore but I knew he loved her. He was a little messed up about it, he was more upset than I was about her death. I was more worried about Patrick. I was sitting in his room doing some class work. When there was a sudden knock on the door it made me jump, then the door opened I expected it to be Patrick's mother so I didn't even bother to turn around to see who it was but when I heard a voice ask "Who the Hell are you?" I turned around and saw some girl from school and I thought to myself 'Why does she look familiar?" I stood up and said "I'm Patrick's girlfriend. Who are you?" She looked like she got pissed and said "No you're not I am." I looked at her and I thought 'Bitch I don't see him getting shot for you.' I tried to keep my calm and I said "Well We will figure that out when he wakes up then, but for now I'm going to need you to get the fuck out of here." I realized that this girl was the same girl I saw him in the hallway kissing. I had pure rage flowing throughout my body now. Then she asked "And if I don't leave what are you going do?" I looked her in the eyes and said "I will beat you goddamned ass and then throw your ass out the window. Try me." She had a genuine look of fear on her face as she realized that I was serious she ran out of the room, I sat down and thought 'I don't know who the hell she thinks she is but I swear I would have thrown her out the window.' I got back to working on the stuff from school. When out of the corner of my eye I saw the blankets on the bed start to move.
******************************** Patrick's POV************************************************** I woke up to the sound of beeping and a page being turned, I slowly opened my eyes only to be met with a white roof and bright lights. I looked to my side and saw Kassidy sitting in a chair doing school work. I smiled at her and said "Morning Princess." Her eyes shot up to me and she had tears pouring out of her eyes, she got up and carefully hugged me then placing a kiss on my lips. I wiped away the tears on her cheek and said "I'm not dead calm down." she gave me a dirty look and rolled her eyes. I sat up and pain shot through my shoulder again and I remembered what all happened and I asked "Is your mot-." She interrupted me. "She didn't make it. Dad's dead too." I couldn't believe it, but I was glad she was alright, she was all that I cared about. I thought to myself 'Patrick the heartless fire loving psychopath cares about someone. Who knew?' I looked down at her and all she could do is smile at the fact that I woke up.She took a seat in the chair she was previously sitting in. I looked over to her and asked "So when the hell can I get out of here?" She shrugged and said "I'll go talk to a doctor." She exited the room to find the doctor. The room fell silent and I thought about what happened, I remembered the feeling when I saw him pointing that gun at Kassidy I was filled with adrenaline and when I saw that he was going to pull the trigger I finally felt what real fear was. Yes, I was afraid, afraid that I was going to lose her. Now that I knew what it was like to feel fear I never wanted to feel it again.The door opened and a doctor walked in followed by Kassidy and she was followed by my mother. I sighed when I saw her enter the room I was not very fond of that woman. I mean she gave life to the thing that was going to replace me, I was the only real thing in this world so I had to snuff it out. "Oh Patrick Baby you're okay." I heard my mothers voice exclaim excitedly. I just looked over to her with a blank stare. "Yeah I'm fine." The happy smile on her face disappeared and I looked over to the doctor and asked "When can I get out of here?" after a few minutes of checking the machines that I was attached to the doctor said "Were going to keep you overnight and you can go home." I nodded and the Doctor left the room Then I asked "Kas where are you staying?" She looked at me and shrugged and said "I've been here for as long as you have been." It took me by surprise that she had stayed with me the entire time that I've been here. I looked at my mother and said "Kas is going to stay with us mother." She turned and looked at me, but didn't argue I knew I ran my house both of my parents feared me and the fear only got worse when they noticed that I realized it. She walked out and the room fell silent. Then Kassidy asked "Patrick that girl you were kissing in the hallway, Who is she to you?" I took in a deep sigh thinking 'Here we go.'
