Courtney's POV

I sat at the kitchen counter staring at an apple with red puffy eyes and tear rolling down my face. Then I heard the door slam shut.
"Hey mom, there are 5 fruit baskets on the porch, you can't leave them outside, they will get gross" Colton announced to me as he brought in each basket one by one. I wiped my tears and stood up to walk over to him.
"I just can't bring them in, it just reminds me of everything, Colton" I said and teared up.
"Mom I know, it's hard, we lost a lot but that fruit will get very gross out side" Colton said with a serious face and I broke a little bit of a smile and so did he. I gave him a hug.
"I miss your dad and Mia" I said to him.
"I miss them too" he responded and I felt a tear fall on my shoulder.
"Baby, we will be ok, we are strong, right?" I gave him a smile
"Right" he smiled and went upstairs to get dressed. Then I heard a knock at the door. I walked over and opened it and standing in front of me was Colin Fitz, Aria's son and Mia's boyfriend.
"Hi Colin" I greeted him.
"Hi mrs DiLaurentis, how are you doing?" He asked me sweetly.
"I'm doing...... better, and don't call me Mrs. DiLaurentis, call me Courtney" I smiled and him and welcomed him into the house.
"I came to drop off some homework for Colton and to see how you are doing" he smiled at me and started unpacking a folder of papers and books.
"That was very nice of you Colin, thank you" I smiled at him. I always liked Colin, not just because he was Arias son but because he was sweet and respectful.
"Well I'm not gonna hold you up, I'll see you later" he smiled then left. Today was The funerals. It was going to be rough, but Colton and I are strong and we can do it! I went upstairs to check on Colton. I knocked on the door. Then opened it a little.
"Honey, What are you doing?" I asked as I watched him sit on his bed staring at two suits.
                "I'm sitting" he replied
"I know that, but why aren't you getting dressed?" I asked and sat with him
"I'm scared to, because once I get dressed, it means that this is real" he showed a tear. I rubbed his back.
"I know kid, it's rough to lose someone so close to you and you are losing two people, I know what you are going through, I was 3 when my dad died and I was 18 when my sister, step dad and mom died, it hasn't been easy" I hugged him and he cried
"Mia was my other half, we were always together, except for that one minute before I was born, that was the only time that we weren't on earth together" he cried to me. I lifted his head and wiped his tears.
"I know and I'm sorry baby, but why don't you get dressed, just take it one step at a time. I'm going to go get dressed too." I gave a weak smile then left the room to get changed.

Colton's POV

We stood in front of the church. I grabbed my moms hand, took a deep breath and together we walked into the church, where we would say goodbye to my sister and my dad. We walked in and sat down and soon afterward other people joined and we sat there sulking in pain and tears.
We went outside and buried them. I threw in dirt, my mom threw in dirt and my aunt Alison threw in dirt. When it ended everyone walked around giving each other their condolences, but the only ones who needed it were me, my mom and my aunt. I sat in a bench and soon after someone came and sat next to me.
"Hey, how are you doing?" The voice asked and I looked up and saw Colin.
"I'm ok, I feel a little better from this morning" I answered and stared at the grass.
"That's good, if you need anything, call me" he gave me a sympathetic smile.
"Thanks, and thanks for coming, you didn't need to come" I gave him a smile
"It's no problem, I had to come it was something I needed to do for myself and Mia" he answered. Then someone called his name and he started getting up and leaving. I put my head down again. I lifted it for a second and saw him staring at me. He quickly turned and I put my head down fast. I felt something weird when he stared at me though. It filled me with happiness, which was weird at this moment. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"Colton, I have to go talk to a few people in the church, do you want to go back to aunt Ali's and aunt Emily's?" My mom asked me, and I just nodded and got up and walked over to my aunts.
When we got to there house they put the TV on and kept offering me food but I wasn't hungry.
"Colton, how has school been going?" Grace asked me, out if both my cousins I felt closest with Grace.
"It was going fine, I mean sophomore year is better than freshman year" I answered
"Yeah, it always is, it gets better as you get older" she smiled and pushed my hair out of my eyes. She gave me a hug. Then my phone buzzed.
Better not replace me, I'll always be apart of you, WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT! - M.I.A

I got that text and I looked around, scared. It can't be Mia, we literally just buried her! I had a worry rushing through my veins.
