LATER: END OF THE DAY
*DINGGGGGGGGG~!*
I packed up my bag and exited the classroom. Walking through the halls of the school, now crowded with students with their bags was filled with cheering because we were done for today.
"Goodbye, Vice President!" One of the students from class B greeted me, I simply smiled back and waved goodbye as I continued walking in the direction of the Student Council Office.
When I opened the door, there was not a single soul inside the office. This made me wonder, where is everyone? Gakushuu and I have the same class but he didn't come back after lunch.
I entered the office and sighed when I spotted a pile of documents that were just sitting on my table. Just looking at them made me tired but what else can I do? I can only finish them. I sat down on my chair and started doing the paperwork.
I didn't bother looking for Gakushuu since he only annoys me when I work. I enjoyed the peacefulness and that he's not around until his head suddenly poked from the door.
I ignored him, he ruined my whole mood. The peaceful moments have ended, you will forever be missed.
"Hey, why are you not greeting me?" He asked, his tone sounded irritated.
"Being a Vice President didn't specify that I need to greet you every time I see you, I'm busy here--" I sighed and spared him a glance, "--Doing the paperwork that you need to do."
One of the Student Council members suddenly opened the door, "Good Afternoon." Manato greeted and headed to his seat. "Good afternoon." I greeted back.
Gakushuu only spared Manato a glance and turned his attention back to me and crossed his arms then pouted, "I was busy too, you know."
"Doing what?" I asked with an eyebrow raised.
"Walking around to see if there were any students after class." He stated.
"Stupid." I spat and leaned back to my chair, "Of course some of the students would still be inside, Club Activities are already in session."
Gakushuu just pouted and leaned to Manato's desk. "I was talking about the students who aren't members of any club."
I just sighed, I was not in the mood to argue with this lunatic.
"Come to think of it, Umi's the only person who can talk to you like that, Gakushuu. Amazing."
I saw Gakushuu let out a sigh, he then looked at me then smirked. He didn't say anything and just kept looking at me.
"If you're done with your patrol, finish up your paper works, and stop looking at me." I scolded and went back to do what I was doing.
Manato suddenly chuckled, "The two of you should change positions. Gakushuu should be the Vice President and Umi should be the President."
"Manato--"
"I know, my bad, sorry."
"Student Council Opening Ceremony is tomorrow. Did you already finished the handouts?" I asked while doing some paperwork.
"Yeah, I finished them already." He took out a suitcase from a cabinet, opened it and he grabbed the paper handouts for students. "Here, I already divided them per class."
He handed me the handouts and went back to his place, I separated them for each level, "Hisako will be handing the handouts to the Freshmen, Manato will be in charge of the Sophomores and I will take care of the Juniors." I looked at Gakushuu and looked at the neatly made stack of handouts on my table. I decided to tie my long and thick hair into a ponytail because it was getting hot.
