UMI'S POV

I was really curious about something. Who was the teacher before Koro-sensei? Why did that teacher suddenly leave? Did that teacher get along with them well?

At the perfect time, I saw Kayano enter the classroom. I was hesitating to ask but I managed to get it out of my chest "Hey, Kayano can I ask you something?"

"Yeah, sure what is it?" She asks as soon as she sat down in her chair, ready to answer my question.

"Do you know who's the original Homeroom Teacher here in E Class?" I asked, I didn't know if she knew something but something suddenly bugged her.

She didn't answer for a while and she was thinking. Kayano was hesitating to answer my question.

"You see, I'm also a transfer student here, just like you. But when I got here, we had a lot of substitute teachers who were not happy about teaching here." She explained, looking that she was bugged out of something, "Sorry, I couldn't even answer your question. But, if you wanna know about it, you can ask Nagisa."

I just nodded and patted her head, "Okay, thank you, Kayano."

She just smiled at me, "You're welcome!'

It didn't take long when Nagisa and Karma entered the classroom, they must be back from the faculty.

"Nagisa!" I called, immediately rushing towards him which he found odd.

"Oh? Hey, Umi, what is it?" He asks, heading back to his chair with me following behind him.

"I was curious about something. I asked Kayano about it but she said that I should ask you." I started, Nagisa only hummed, signaling that I should continue, "It's about your teacher before."

Nagisa was confused, "What do you wanna ask about her?"

"Oh, it's a woman." I stated, nodding, "Well, why did she leave? Didn't she got along with you guys?"

"Oh, Her name is Ms. Aguri Yukimura. The teacher always got teased by the class for wearing weird shirts. She got along with everyone, especially with us." He looked at me with his innocent eyes.

"Why did she leave?" I asked, not knowing what to expect.

"She just left one day, not telling us a thing. She didn't come back." Nagisa suddenly looked down and signed, "Then, we found out that she died."

I was shocked. "I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have asked that!" I bowed my head, regretting that I asked such a question.

"It's okay. It's not your fault, you didn't know." Nagisa reassured me with a smile as he looked up at me.

I nodded, "That's sad, I wonder what happened to her."

"Well, we don't know." Nagisa sighed, I kind of felt bad because it must be very uncomfortable to talk about. I shouldn't be persistent and just let him do his thing. That was stupid of me.

"Well, uh," I scratched the back of my neck, "I think we should head outside for PE."

Nagisa just nodded and stood up, "Let's go."

We went to our lockers first before going to the restroom to change into our gym clothes. Mr. Karasuma said that we're gonna try our first assassination today and it has gotten me excited since yesterday.

We proceeded to our respective restrooms to change our clothes, we wouldn't want our skirts to be flying with the gist of strong wind, wouldn't we?

I heard a familiar voice calling out to me. "Umi-chan! You in here?"

I looked back to the door, pulling the jogging pants to my waist, "Nakamura?"
