NARRATOR'S POV:

After her rough day at school, Evelyn was slowly making her way home with nobody to talk to. The silence enabled her to playback the tragedies of her first day of year 11. Not that she wanted to, but in these particular conditions, it was inevitable. School wasn't the biggest of her problems. In fact, it wasn't the people there either. It was the fact that she couldn't have any proper contact with anyone, or make any friends, and she couldn't do anything about it. It had always been an issue, she'd find someone who she wanted to get to know, but as soon as she tried to talk to them, she would feel as though she'd skrewed everything up, and bail.

A couple of turns away from home, she found that she was not alone anymore. There were two girls not far behind her, following her, cursing and swearing at her as if she was nothing more than a piece of dirt. She couldn't recall anything she could have done to deserve it, but she tried to ignore them, regardless.
As she went on, they were becoming worse, and the anger and rage started to build up inside of her, but she was managing to keep it in, just.
"Come back here, ya little woos" yelled one of the girls behind her.
At this stage, she was sprinting. Not too far away from her house, and she would be safe. Then, out of nowhere, the other girl jumped on her, and pinned her to the ground. Evelyn was kicking and struggling as much as she could, but she knew she was only waisting her energy. The girl on top of was still cursing, whilst also spitting in her face. The other one was kicking her several times, over and over, not caring where her foot had landed.

Evelyn tried hard to conceal her curse, fighting the urges to let it out. She fought to keep the very secret that makes her anxious about everything, putting her in her situations, but it was too late. Electronic bolts came flying out from her body it every direction, hitting both the girls, and forcing them away. The bolts were electrocuting them frantically, doing more damage than any regular power source could ever do.
Then, they stopped. The bolts had disappeared as fast as they had appeared. Evelyn lay there on the ground, breathing deeply, trying to get her breath back.
She was sure that those girls had just been killed.
She hesitantly stood up, her legs trembling with fear, and stumbled over to where the bolts had carried them.
With the small bit of light provided from the street lights, she could see that the girls were both still breathing, but in a comma. She instantly took her phone out of her pocket, dialed triple zero, and asked for an ambulance.
After a few minutes of waiting, Evelyn's mother came into sight. When Evelyn saw her, she instantly felt panic rise inside her.
Her mum came over to where she was sitting, looked around at the mess, and then, burst into tears.
"What have you done," she pleadingly whispered.
Evelyn looked at her blankly, but all that was going through her mind was the guilt that she could have easily killed them, and for a split second, she hadn't cared.
"What did you do!" The anger in her mum's voice had shown, and she was yelling. There was an echo, then, another stretch of silence.
Not a second longer, the lights of an ambulance were visible from around the corner.
