Chapter six
My whole body was in a cold sweat, it felt like I had been lying in a sea of ice, thrown, smashed and beaten by the waves. From my head to my toes I was dead, I was as numb as numb could be. I was alone on the other side of the world, a million miles away from the one place that I wanted to be, home. I had nothing, but a phone and a nighty. My friends had disappeared off the face of the earth, I had not a clue where I was, I had no luggage and now not even my carry on. I was a tiny ant that was about to be crushed. I had nothing and I was nothing. I wasn’t even sure that I was alive.
Vaguely, I could start to feel my heart beat racing beneath the surface of my chest, and too me that was a good sign, I was surfacing from the depths of the deep, dark sea. As I reached the surface I gulped for air, and there I was, I blinked, everything was distorted and uneven, I could hear talking, but I couldn’t make anything out, I blinked again and again, but nothing. “She’s coming too” said a deep, demon like voice. I felt my whole body shutter and under I went again.
I rolled over, eyes still tight shut, I must have washed up on the shore, I could feel the warm soft sand on my face, the warm tide rolling in and out brushing on my legs. The warm water felt beautiful, just as the sun did on my skin. I felt so warm, so relaxed and calm. “Come on, open your eyes sweetie, everything is alright now”, Louis must of been next to me, I knew he would come and protect me, I knew he would dive down and pull me from the depths of the black sea, he was so brave. He brushed his hand against my face, it was so soft and warm, “Come on, open your eyes, I know your there, I promise you, you are safe now”. I opened my eyes and looked up at my beautiful saviour.
“GET AWAY FROM ME” I started screaming, I started kicking and thrashing as hard as I could and backed myself up as fast as I could. I jumped from where I was lying to the ground and ran at the wall, I turned around screaming for my life, “GET AWAY FROM ME, GET AWAY, GET AWAY”, I started crying hysterically again, threatening the figure in front of me. Suddenly, shooting pains from every angle of my body forced me to the ground, this time I screamed in pain, my eyes were stinging like I had rubbed poison in them, my throat burned as if I had breathed fire from my mouth, my hand pelted and throbbed, I couldn’t move my fingers or hand at all, it felt like every bone in it had been crushed, shooting pains in my chest felt like I was repetitively being stabbed and ripped open and I wasn’t too sure whether I was being stabbed or not, my heart was palpitating beyond the point of a normal human being able to handle, I was either being killed or dying.
Hands grabbed me but I fought back, I kicked and threw my arms around as hard as I could but I couldn’t see what I was doing because I couldn’t open my eyes and my body was beginning to feel incredibly weak so I screamed, but nothing came out, my voice had disappeared, just like my friends had, I ached in every inch of my body. The strong hands then grabbed my arms and pushed me to the ground, I tried to kick but I was under too much pressure. I went limp and kept crying. I was scared to death.
I must had laid there for five minutes or more when the hands started moving, both of my hands were behind my back in one of his hands, and the other hand was lifting me up. I was now in sitting position on my knees on the floor, hands still behind my back. The person let go of my hands and my body and stood up, I fell limp to the floor and just lied there. The male figure bent down on his knees and sat against the wall, he grabbed me under the arms and pulled me up against his chest, he reached over and grabbed my legs and curled me up into a ball, he then wrapped his arms around me with my head cradled between his shoulder and neck and we sat there, my eyes still tight shut.
