Chapter eight
“Well I didn’t say that I could sing any good” Niall blushed
“Come on, you have to sing for me now” I said trying to sound convincing
“Maybe later” he said not sounding very promising
“Fine then”, I pretended to crack it and stomped out of the room
“Hey you, get back here, we haven’t finished our dance”, I ignored Niall and kept walking. “Ahhh” I squealed and laughed as he ran and picked me up throwing me over his shoulder, “Niall, you put me down right now” I said laughing, “if you say so” and Niall dropped me strait onto the couch, I laughed again as I looked up at the smiling Niall.
Niall laughed as he leant over me and started tickling me, “stop it, stop it” I said kicking and laughing hysterically, Niall laughed as I squirmed around, he slowly stopped and looked back at me, he was thinking, looking at me with his beautiful bright, vibrant blue eyes, Niall moved his hands from my waist up to my neck, he bent down and put his face just a few inches away from mine, my heart started to race, “Kady” Niall said, “yes Niall” I replied short of breath, Niall sighed, “don’t worry” Niall stood back up and looked away.
I pulled myself up out of the cushiony surroundings of the couch, “is everything aright Niall” I asked, my heart still racing, “yeah” Niall answered shortly, confusion in his voice, “Niall, look at me”, Niall turned to face me, he stood almost nose to nose to me purposely making me feel both nervy and uncomfortable at his sudden change in moods. I regretted it instantly, “I’m sorry” was all I had, I stood back a step and looked down at my bare feet, Niall looked down at my feet to, “I’ll be back, lock the doors behind me” and that was the last Niall said as he grabbed his coat and left.
I sat down on the couch very confused; I wasn’t too sure what had just happened. I went and locked the doors and came back to the lounge, I looked out the windows of the balcony and up into the sky, I suddenly missed home a lot, in the events of the last few days my mind had been on so much I’d forgotten about Jess and Tori, I’d forgotten about home and I’d forgotten about Louis. “My phone” I said to myself, I headed to the kitchen to see if I had any messages. I picked up the blackberry that was sitting on the giant glass table. ‘6 message’ a little box on my screen said. I opened them up and not to my surprise they were from Louis.
06/12/11 - I know I just left you but I feel like I should turn back
06/12/11 - I had the most amazing day today. Sleep tight and ill text you tomorrow. Xo
07/12/11 - good morning, how did you sleep?
08/12/11 - Hey Kady, Just wondering what days you would like to catch up? Xo
08/12/11 - Hey, just checking that you’re getting my messages
09/12/11 - I’m hoping that you just busy, that’s why you haven’t replied
It was the 10th today, I felt so guilty that I hadn’t replied to Louis but it wasn’t my fault, I’d just explain everything that had happened.
I sat down on one of the chairs and started texting, trying to fill in everything that had happened over the last few days.
Me: Hey Louis, I’m so sorry that I haven’t replied to any of your messages. I’ve had a long and stressful past few days. I’ve been robbed and attacked, I have lost everything that I own including my ticket home, Jess and Tori never showed up and I’m now in hiding under police protection until my attacker has been caught. I was fortunate to be helped by an amazing person who has taken me in and is now with me. I really miss you Louis. Xo
