Chapter ten

Niall and I slowly made our way back to the hotel silently, hand in hand, not wanting to ruin what had just happened.  We walked up the stair well of the hotel instead of taking the elevator, wanting to make every moment last. When we had finally reached the door to our apartment that we were staying in, we walked in quietly, Niall locking the door behind us. I stopped and turned to Niall waiting for him. Niall turned around smiling shyly knowing that I was there. Instead of saying anything we just wrapped our arms around each other, feeling overwhelmed by our moment on the bridge. Everything about it was so perfect; it was a movie moment that didn’t feel real. I felt so lucky as I stood there in the hall way, in the dark, lost in thought.

Niall lent down and kissed my forehead before we made our separate ways to our own rooms.

I began undressing, taking my jeans and socks off but when it came to taking Niall’s top off, I couldn’t. I felt as though I needed him to be next to me, to comfort me and hold me, so I hopped into bed in my underwear and ‘The Ramones’ t-shirt. As I laid there I felt the clover pendant resting on my chest, above my heart. I looked down and watched it rise and fall with the breathing of my chest. I picked it up between my fingers as I admired the beautiful little metal clover. I turned it over to see on the back it had Niall’s name engraved on it. I smiled as I realised that a piece of Niall was now a piece of me. I shut my eyes and smiled at the thought.

I thought about the beautiful night that I had, had and the way everything had been so perfect. Niall was no stranger to me anymore, and the more I thought about it, the more I was convinced that I was falling in love. Niall’s eyes appeared as I closed my own brown ones. I looked into them admiring every detail as they captured my heart, making it race beneath my rib cage. The way they started off light blue around the edges, the colours of that crystal blue sky on that crisp spring day at the beach, and as they slowly darked as they neared his pupils. Niall’s eyes gave me chills as they reminded me of a swirling storm, colours so vibrant and pure. So blue, as they started fading into grey...

Hang on; they weren’t Niall’s eyes anymore. They were Louis’.

Louis had beautiful eyes to. They were blue but nothing likes Niall’s at all. No, Louis’ eyes were blue but shaded darker to a greyer colour, the colour of a vicious thunder storm. That grey colour that clouds get before a storm of pure destruction is about to occur. Louis’ eyes had me trapped in a trance from the very moment I had laid my eyes on them. They sent me vibes of danger and fun but Louis’ was just another example of something so pure and perfect.

Was it possible that I was in love with both Louis and Niall?

I don’t no.

I opened my eyes and sat up. I rubbed my hands up and down my face and shook my head. I took in a deep breath to calm my thoughts but as I did, I breathed in the sweet scent of Niall, it filled my lungs sending spasms of pleasure all over my body. I laid back down shutting my eyes, falling into the abyss of pleasant thoughts as sleep over came me.

A dim flashing light blinked in my face, I groaned slightly as I reached out to stop whatever it was. My hands rested on my phone and I picked it up resting in on my chest. I sleepily blinked my eyes trying to focus on the screen. I had a message from Louis and sighed happily, I looked at the time, reading 7:46am before I opened the message.
