Chapter 10

     I am Paralyzed or am I frozen all I know is I couldn't move. A brother, the memory I saw didn't mention a brother.

" How-Wha- " I can't find my voice.

"Twins to Be exact " He says he looks as shocked as I am. " Look At your right wrist" I look at the strange birthmark on my wrist, it has always been there though. "I have the same one" he says as he rolls up his sleeve to show a bold mark. It is Identical to mine. I can't feel my legs all i want to do is run but I Couldn't move. Then black, All I see is black.

I wake up in my old bed back in the colonie. Was it all a dream, I hoped it was but when I see Alex looking out my window I know it wasn't.

"Did I faint" I ask softly

"Ya, Ash carried you here" He said "I wouldn't go at first but he said he knew where we wanted to go, I guess your species does not faint normal ether. You started floating and then you fell at least 10 feet."

I look around the room as memories begin to flood me from my past. The dent in my door rom when me and sam would use to wrestle. I try to look for Ash but i can not find him. I begin to feel dizzy so I walk outside where I see something that wasn't there when we left. A giant Ashwood tree in the middle of my old yard then i realize its Ash.

I start to feel dizzy so i walk outside and see somthing there that wasn't there when we left. It was a Giant Ashwood tree with vidly colored leaves, It must be ash

"Of course its me scarlet" I hear a voice inside my head say. Ok this is werid I think to myself

"Its not werid its natural" the voice says again then i realize its Ash's voice. Thats when the giant tree in front of me begins to shrink down into a person. Suddenly Ash is in the place of the tree.

"How were your doing that" I asked puzzled

"Its just somthing twins like us can do" He's says with a michevious grin " but seriously i need to show you somthing" He doesn't give me a chance to ask what so i just follow him back inside the house. When we walk back in i notice Alex curled up on my bed asleep.

"Give me a second Ash Ok?"

Ok but be quick he says as he walks into mom's old room. I make my way into the room and give a quick whistle just to see if alex is really asleep. When he doesn't move I move over towards him and put the blanket over him, tuck him in a little then kiss his forehead.

I walk into my mom's room to find Ash going through a trunk. He first he pulls out sea blue bow with a satchel of arrows. The bow and each arrow have embers name scratched into them. Next he pulls out two daggers with emerald green on the handles and blade they have Ash's name carved into each handle. Next is to Swords both with crimson handles and red stained blades with my name carved into the blades. He pulls out a letter and hands it to me. It also has a map attached to it and I begin to read.

I cannot live with you because of my race. But I hope you will understand it was to protect you. First my youngest Ember I leave you this bow blue as the sea, may you always shoot straight and with reason. Next my only son Ash

I stop because i realize i'm reading this out loud. Once I regain my train of thought I started to read again.

To Ash i Leave these two daggers emerald like my eyes and hope that you can forgive me. And finally to my beloved Scarlet I leave my to swords that i used to protect our family for generations. You are meant for more all of you. The map shows where i'm going to be for a while hope i get to see you guys again one day.

I try to blink away the tears. But then i realize i have this map we can find dad now. I Can scream i'm so happy but Ash looks the total opposite.

"Ash don't you see were going to see dad again we have this map now"

"That map won't help us" He says through his tears

"Why not Ash"

"Because dad was kidnapped by the trolls a week ago"

I feel myself begin to get heated with anger "How do You know this?"

"Because.... I'm the one who helped them do it"

Sorry for such a short chapter, I'm getting help from a friend on this and we are kind of getting writers block.
