I woke up, for the first time in a long time, happy. There were no wars, no impending doom, no hell dimension, just me, my awesome girlfriend, and my home, Camp Half-Blood. We'd defeated Gaia and the giants, got out tartarus and got the Athena Parthanos to camp before the Romans destroyed it. Finally I could just settle down for the rest of summer.

Or so I thought.

I got up, dressed in a camp orange T-shirt and jeans and went over to the mess hall for breakfast. Annabeth was waiting for me already, and ran over to me as I approached her. She threw her arms around my neck and kissed me. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed not fighting for my life.

"So, how did you sleep?" I asked her.

"No dreams!" She replied, happily "It's been months since that last happened!"

"Same! Okay, want a croissant?"

After breakfast, we had sword fighting practice. Annabeth thrashed me, as usual, and then we watched the others. In the last year, when I was brain washed by Hera and sent to Camp Jupiter, I had missed all the new campers arriving. There was even a new wing of cabins for the minor gods. All the original cabins were overflowing with demigods, half of whom I didn't recognise. It was a normal day at camp and nobody was dying, so honestly, I haven't felt this good since I was reunited with Annabeth after she completed the quest to find the Mark of Athena.
