I was called to the board room early that morning. I remember waking up with Peeta beside me. After a quick breakfast, I received a message to meet at the central government building at 11.00, without fail.

I walked in at 11.01 and was greeted with

'What happened to "without fail"?'  from Paylor, who didn't look up.

'One minute, it's not exactly-'

'Never mind, we haven't got time for this. You remember what I said about making contact? It turns out, they've beaten us to it...'

I opened my eyes to that morning for them only to be met by the intense gaze of my younger half sister Rosie's, around two inches above me. I gave a little shriek before she spoke. 'Chiron wants to see you. Now,' Then she ran off.

I pulled on my clothes and dashed off to the big house.

From behind me, I heard

'Hey, wise girl, wait up!' from my seaweed brain.

'He called you too?'

Yeah, but he sent the Stolls to tell me. Big mistake. So, you got any idea what this is about?'

'No, you?'

'Nope,'

We got there soon enough, and Piper, Jason, Hazel, Frank and Grover were all already there. Chiron turned to face us as we came in.

'All here? On with the main topic, then. We've received a letter from England...'
