Maxwell's POV
I couldn't get what Sarahbelle meant by my parents gave my so-called friends money to be my friends. I was sick that my parents would do that. I was furious. I slammed the front door.
"Maxwell! Don't you dare slam that door?" Oh. So they're home. Good. We have a lot to talk about.
"Mom. Is it true that you and dad paid people to be my friends?"
"Yes, sweetie. You've been asking your father and me to have friends and we paid them to be your friends."
"Oh. Thanks." I told her sarcastically. I left to go to go to my bedroom. I thought about how I ruin my life by being a jerk. I won't ever go to school. I've lost everything.
Sarahbelle's POV
I've noticed Maxwell hasn't been in school since the incident. I decide to visit him. As I did. The maid opened the door and told me where Maxwell's room was. So, I went upstairs and knocked on his door and opened it. I peeked my head in. "Hey. How are you?" He chuckled bitterly. He looked at me with an emotionless expression.
"What kind of stupid question is that? How do you think I feel?"
I got my things and headed towards the door, then looked back at him.
"I just wanted to check on you. But, since you want to bitch and moan. I mean did any of your real friends came to check on you? Nope. I did while their talking shit behind your back like fucking cowards they are. But, staying home won't do anything well. Just think about it."
I left his home and on my way to mines. I hope Maxwell took my words in.
Maxwell's POV
I didn't know why SarahBelle helped me but I was grateful for her help. My heart fluttered when I said her name. Oh my goodness. I'm in love with Sarahbelle. But, she has a boyfriend. I have no chance with her. Seems impossible. She's really pretty and perfect. My little angel. She's going to mine. No matter what. Even if I have to beg her for forgiveness. She's going to mine. I never knew I was this crazy for her. But, I am. Screw the school and those fake students and my so-called friends. Since I'm the captain of the football team, I'm going to kick those losers off except Jordan. He and I have some forgiving to do. We are going to recruit boys who deserve to play. I'm going to make important changes. Starting now.
