“There’s so many to choose from!” Liam said once we reached the store on the upper level.

“Yes, I see that.”

“Are you annoyed? C’mon have a bit of fun!”

“Flat-bills aren’t really my thing…”

Liam shrugged and pulled a Perry the Platypus hat off the wall and put it on my head.He then got a Buzz Lightyear and put it on, too.

“Take a picture with me,” He pulled out his phone.

We took two pictures; a serious one and a crazy one.

Liam “tried on” a whole lot more hats until he decided he wanted the first he put on; the Buzz one.

“I think I’ll get this one, too. For Niall,” He picked a flat-bill that had a clover, “Pick one and I’ll get it for you.”

“Really?”

“Yeah, go ahead.”

My eyes scanned the wall and landed on one I knew would make Liam jealous: a Batman snapback.

“I want this one,” I reached up, but my arm came up just shy of the hat. “Ugh, curse my short-ness.”

“You’re not that short,” Liam barely reached and got the hat I had tried to get.

“Thanks,” I mumbled.

“Mhm.”

He took all three hats to the register and paid.

“Here you go,” He took the tag off, leaving the ‘sacred’ sticker on like everyone else does, and put it on my head.

“You can look gangster like me-“

“Oh, my gosh! Is that Liam Payne?” A girl said behind us, whispering to her friend.

“I think it is!”

Liam turned around and they squealed.

“Hi, girls,” He said politely, but I knew he was just a tad annoyed.

“Oh, my goodness! This is the best day ever! Can we please have your autograph?” The first one said; the other just nodded.I guess she was too stunned for words.

“You have a marker or a pen?” He asked.

Both girls checked their pockets.

The first one turned to me, “Do you have one?”

I was a little annoyed and moved slowly when checking my purse for a sharpie. It took a good 15 seconds and I could tell that both girls were instantly annoyed with me too.

I handed Liam the marker I found and he ended up signing a copy of Up All Night and a shoe.

“So, Liam, do you like Atlanta?” The second girl said.

I saw him glance my way before he said, “It’s lovely.I’m sorry I can’t stay and chat, though.I’ve got some things to do.”

He gave them both quick side-hugs and gently pulled me out of the store by the elbow.

Liam started walking in one direction (no pun intended) even though he had no idea where he was going.I kept his pace while he checked his watch.

“It’s about 11:15.Are you hungry?”

“If you wanna get something, we can,” I said.

“How about we eat around….12 P.M?”

“Sounds good.”
