Chapter 9: Seeing The Real Me

VIOLET'S POV

Since its weekend, we're now going home. I want her parents and my parents to know that we're together now, I'm so excited.

I already called my parents to go to the Maximilian Mansion, we arrived there at exactly lunch. We entered their mansion, I saw our parents talking there animatedly.

We walk to them holding hands, I saw my mom look at our hands. "Oh my daughter, glad that you decided to come" Uncle Dallas said to her.

"Yeah dad"

We hug them, and they invited us to the dining room. While eating, my mom suddenly asked, "What's with the holding hands awhile ago?" The four of them look at the both of us, I look at Zinx who was concentrated eating. I sighed, so I will be the one tell them.

"Well, we're together now" I got her hand raise it for them to see. There was silence for awhile but was broken when Dad and Uncle started laughing.

"I never knew our children will be dating each other" Dad laugh, and Uncle agreed. I look at our moms who was still silent. My mom smiled but her mom didn't, Aunt Amy's face still don't have reaction.

"Mom? Are you okay?" Zinx asked her, I look at her mom waiting for an answer.

"Yeah, I'm alright" she said and continue eating, it seems like she's the only one that was not happy for us. "Violet, can I have a word with you alone, later?" She asked me suddenly.

"Ah, yes Auntie" I smiled and continue eating, well whatever she's gonna say I hope its positive. Zinx got my hand and squeeze it, encouraging me. I smiked at her, and she smiled back.

After we're done eating, her mom ask for me to follow her. We got out to their backyard, and we sit at the bench. "Violet, I know what you're thinking. If I'm not happy about what you just announced earlier, right?" I nodded. "Well, I'm happy but I'm just thinking about your future" what about our future? "I know that you know everything about my daughter and I appreciate you for accepting her as your best friend and now as your lover. But about your future, when you have kids. I want grandchildren after the wedding, please don't be pregnant soon. You both are still young"

I nodded, "We're using protection"

"Good" she stood up, I stood up as well. She hugged me, "Thank you for loving my daughter" I smiled. I sighed in relief, its all positive.

When we go back, I notice that Zinx is not with them. "She's upstairs" her dad said, I nod and go up. I open the door and see her laying on the bed listening to music, I entered and join her.

"What did mom said to you?"

"No grandchildren until our wedding" she chuckled.

"Of course she would say that, mom is very strict when it comes to that matter" I snuggled on her body's warmth, "Violet?"

"Yes?"

"Do you really want to see the real me?" She asked. I look up at her with hope, and nodded. She sighed and get up from the bed. "Alright, wait me" she walk into the bathroom. After a few minutes, she got out. My jaws dropped, damn he's very very hot. I can't even recognize her, she's hiding that many tattoos. And her eyes, blue, she's just covering it with brown. My eyes gaze down to her eight packs.

"Babe, are you sure you're not a guy?" I asked her still having my eyes on her body.

"What kind of question is that?" She asked with an awkwardness on her voice, I secretly chuckled.

"Babe, why can't you show to the world the real you?" We're laying on her bed, cuddling.

"I don't want attentions from people. Even if I'm a Maximilian, I still want to live a normal life. I'm not like my dad, she abuse her wealth, well Uncle Chase and her both abused their wealth back in the old days" she said, I traced her abs and tattoos.

"You know, I hear gossips. That the children of Villan and Maximilian will be marrying each other" I look up at her.

She shook her head, "That's not true, babe. I can't just marry any girl, I have you" she look down on me and kiss my forehead. "Well, my sisters can. They both like Ace, so yeah. That's a jackpot for Ace, two hot blondies. I'm tired of hearing their obsession on Ace, whenever I'm home with them" we both chuckled.

"Babe? I want this relationship to work out, so can we not keep secrets at each other anymore?" I asked her, she froze. "Well, me honestly don't have any secrets at all. I'm a straight forward person, I tell everything. How about you? Do you have secrets? Oh I know you have many" I smirked.

"Y-yeah, um well. I pretend to be a man at night, I do have vices on drinking and smoking, and I'm dancing ballet with Angel every night" my eyes widened at that.

"So that's were you're going every night? I.... I thought.."

"No babe, she just ask me about that for her recital cause she don't have a partner. And she don't know that I'm Zinx, she know me as Cali, the man at night. Babe, I only have my eyes on you" she hugged me, I hug her back. I'm glad that she said her secrets, that means she really love me. I look up to her, I mounted her body and kiss her passionately.

"Thank you, babe"

"For what?" She asked.

"For being honest with me, and being loyal with me" I smiled genuinely at her, then I hug her again while I'm on top of her. "I love you"

"I love you too"

ZINX'S POV

Angel had pulled me all the way to the roof top, I pulled my hands from her grip. "Wait wait wait, why did you pull me here?" I asked her, she's acting weird lately. She step forward and she caress my cheeks.

"I have a confession to make" I know where will this go, "I like you Zinx" I sighed and remove her hands.

"I already have a girlfriend and I love her, please don't ruin it" I pleaded looking into the eyes.

"I know the real you" I got nervous at that, "You're Cali, I'm not stupid" my eyes widened, how did she know? She look at my arm and she scratch it, I groan cause it hurts. Her long long nails strath it, it showed the ink. "See, you're just covering and this" she remove my glasses, that's just contact lenses. I quickly get the glasses from her and put it back.

"I'm still up for the recital but when the recital is done, I will have no longer communication with you. I'm sorry I have to go" I started to walk away from her.

"I'm a Villan, I get what I want" I stopped when I heard her say that, but I continue walking. Its official, I chose Violet over her. I think I did the right thing but it feels like I'm wrong.
