Clicking heels echoed throughout the hallway. White fur of wings flipped with the movement, hand jerked up in swift moves to open a white door.

“Father! What. Have. You. Done. To. My. Sister?!” Winter practically screamed menancingly, as she walked to her father desk, slamming her hands on it.

Jacques slowly turned around his chair, facing his daughter. “Hello, dear Winter. Is this how I teach you about formality? After all,” His moustaches twitched, crossed his hands on the desk, glaring at his daughter, “I'm your father. Please be respectful.”

“I don't give a damn about formalities when I know that you are the reason Weiss disappeared.” Winter stand straight, her hands on her side, gripping until knuckles runs white. Tensed between two of them are getting stronger as they glared at each other.

“Tell. Me!” Outburst come out of nowhere to Winter, as she loses patience. Her wings extend to show how intimidated she was. She'd been paranoid since the moment, Layna, one of Weiss's servant, told her that her sister had been missing for three days now.

“And what if I didnt?” Jacques leaned to his seat, his moustache curved upwards. Winter only glared at him, leaning forward.

“Such a shame of you wanting such a shameless sister” Winter quickly turned around, saw a woman in red dress walking inside and walked closer to her father. “After all, she humiliated our king here.” She traced Jacques jawline, smirking at Winter.

“Bitch.” Winter breathout hateful sighed. Jacques warned her for such inappropriate used of languages. Winter did not bother by it and instead speak, “I don't know what's your problem is, but one thing I know is you ripped my family apart the moment you stepped in our life!”

That women scrunched her face, which increasing Winter's anger. “Oh my, how rude of you speak to your queen. It's Cinder after all. Remember that name.”

“I don't care about your name. You are not a queen yet!” Winter countered back, but to her surprise, Jacques stated one sentence that makes Winter's blood boiled, “Not until we married.”

“What?! You can't simply let the throne to this stranger!” Winter pointed to Cinder, Cinder only making a ‘tsked’ sound. “Said the one who refused help to rule this kingdom.”

“You will regret this father.” Winter retrieved back, walking out the room without hesistation.

“Layna! Come with me!”

Weiss P.O.V.

My beauty sleep had being disturbed by a sound of tapping window. Slowly my eyes flickered and rubbed it. I saw a silhouette of human outside. Well, this creep me out since this room is on the second floor.

I scanned around the room, found a pen, well, at least I can stabbed the person on eyes or neck or somewhere else. Slowly I make my way to the window.

What makes me quickly opened the window is a flying person, with a wings attached to it.

“Princess Weiss, gladly to see you are safe now.” Layna, one of my servant, tackled me with hugs that makes both of us down to the floor. “Layna, how did you get here? How do you know I'm here? You know it's dangerous for you to come here!” I whispered nervously, tried so hard keeping my voices down, not wanting Ruby woke up in the other room and seeing her.

Her purple wings flapped and wrapped around me. “That not important, what's important is our kingdom will fall, we need you— oh my gosh! Wha-what happened to you?” Layna covered her mouth, as she saw what happened to me. It's must be weird to her seeing me without my wings. After all, I'm not using any clothes...sweatpants on, only bandage to cover up my chest.
