"What am I even doing here?" I asked for myself, currently dressing in one of the school uniform for Signal Academy, backpack hold tight on my back, muttering and talking nonsense between the students, and I'm here, standing clueless at the hallway by myself. Sighed.

—————————

Approximately the day before I went to the academy~

"Ohoho! School starts soon so we might get our stuff together and prepared for whole months in dorms!" Yang's practically jumped around the house, cleaning here and there as she claimed that she wanted the house cleaned before going back to Beacon.

“School?” I was dumbfounded, since I had finished my year of studies. Yeah, let just said that I managed to finished early despite my ages.

“Yeah. School, learnings, studies, books, stuff,” Yang tapped her chin, then gave me light smirked on her face, “and girls.” Then added a wink. What?

I groaned at her. Grabbing any nearest reading stuff and began ignoring her. Then I felt someone joined me on the sofa.

“Well, you are new here so... what year are you in?” Blake said, placing her book on her lap and look at me. I closed back the magazines and think. Man, I can't just said that I had graduated. But then again, this place is different than at Land of Sylvince.

“I...might be the same as you?” I told her, more like questioning to myself. I'm not really sure about this, living here and learns everything related to humans. About our enemies. Yeah, that's the truth.

Blake tapped her chin with her finger, observing me up and down. “You are not that—” her eyes then landed on my chest. And yes, I'm pretty aware of what will she said. “—Not saying anything rude but you might be the same age as Ruby.”

“What? She's a child and I'm grown enough!” I crossed my arms, frowning by her statement. How can my, slowly I used my crossed arms to feel my breast, Gosh they makes me do inappropriate things!

“You can't just assume someone age by seeing their chest.” I muttered under my breaths, clearly both of them had a set of chest that every guys drooling for. Oh gawd, no, stop thinking already!

“Oh, oh!” Yang had finished her cleaning and take a sit beside me. “How about this? You will go the same year as Ruby and take care of her for me.” Yang squished me in her arms. I struggled in her arms, wait, what did she said?

“And state the reason why I need to be her caretaker?” I scoffed as I managed to pushed myself from her gripped, and then take a sit across both of them.

“It's not a caretaker, you just be with her in the same year.” Yang shrugged, then make herself comfortable enough to put her legs on the coffee table that separate us.

“And state the reason why she need to be with me.” A dark voices cutted in our conversation, as Ruby appeared at the stairs and walked to us. Her eyes trailed from me and Yang, then Blake.

“Uhh, it's just,” Yang stumbled her word, quickly scratched her hair, and sighed afterwards. “Look, Ruby. Blake and I will enroll our studies at Beacon, while you are still at Signal. It's good for me that having a paired of eyes on you, y'know. But uhhh...”

“I can take care of myself. I don't need her.” Her voices kind of muffled, realizing she eating cookies with cookies jar on her hands. She keep munching while watching the television and there is her sister, rambling about how the big sis is so damn worried about her well being.

Somehow this remind me of Winter.

“Move ahead slowpoke!” A hand pushed my back as I moved forward in instant.

Ruby came out of nowhere and pushing me through the halls of human.

After all, it's my first time living as a human.

Ruby then guided me into the classroom, which is the same as her surprisingly. Not that I care though. It's better than being alone....despite her attitude.

“Yo rubes! C'mere and sit with us!” a group of three people are calling Ruby. Ruby then leave me alone here. Now I need to take back my words just now.

Searching around until I spotted one of empty table and quickly take a sit. In sync, the bell rings.

This will be the longest day of my life.

“You must be the new student.” A guy suddenly appears right behind me after I finished clearing up my stuffs in locker. Shut the locker and turn around, only facing one of the kind of jocks in every school.

With his smirk plastered, I only gave him cold stares. Push him aside and make my way to the library. To isolated myself from others.

“Woohoo.. playing hard to get, aren't we?” That jocks catching me up, walking beside me. I glance at people who's at hall now, they are staring at us. At me.

“Hey, hey, not that fast.” That jocks stopped right in front of me once I picked up the speed. God, how annoying!

“Now you are getting on my nerves.” I spatted, crossing my arms. That guy flips his hair and leaning closer. His hot breathe yet smell awful pollute the environment around me, “Feisty, I like it. Just wanna ask for you phone number.” He winked at me and reach out his hand.

Giving daggers glares as I slapped his hand and push him hard, really hard on the locker that he winced in pain. “Stop disturbing me, or other people.” I hissed under my breathe. He started exchanging glares, and quickly stand with his feet back. Crowd of people started to surround us, which makes me feel uncomfortable. They keep mocking that guy and I didn't like the sound of it. So I pushed aside me pride and said to him, “Sorry.” That guy just spatted aside and keep shoo-ing others to mind their own business.

Walked out the crowd as I continued to library. Ever since after classes finished, I didn't even seen that red-tipped dyed hair girl. Wonder where she's been.

Going through the aisle in the library, then I found the section I've been waiting for.

History Section. Doing on my research of relationship between Angels and Human.

I need to know what in the world separated us.
