Few weeks later.....
The black bearded man sat quietly in solitary as he drunk himself in his own desolation with his back leaned on the cold hard concrete wall. He kept his eyes trained against the empty floor trying to keep his sanity from slipping. All he yearned was to have even just a minute break from this torture. He shut his lids hoping to have a remnant of peace he once had.
But the man knew closing his eyes wouldn't make a signifance difference, because all he would see would still be the same dark emptiness that surrounded his cell. He couldn't risk to stay off his guard now. Or ever.
Just right out his cell were the most dangerous and foulest dark creatures in the world. They roamed around the prison feeding from the memories of some poor unlucky souls.
Dementors.
One must constantly keep a blank mind to keep those dark creatures back. Taking a short trip down in memory lane in his dreams could very well be the ticket to his eternal slumber. And the man could not afford to die at the moment. No matter how much more the torturous days he had to endure, he had to persevere.
He had to stay strong because beyond this damn concrete walls was a little young boy surrounded by killers of a bastard.
The lil' pup should be around ten this year...
Footsteps neared his cell and he stood up in alert as a something approached his cell. Light blinded his sight. It took some time before he could adjust his sight to see one of the prison guard's with his wand held in front.
"Sirius Black, you have a visitor."
They walked through the halls as Sirius silently thought of who could ever visit him. He doubt it would be any worried family member of his. All of his family were either dead or locked up in the same damn place he was, banished in the dead island of Azkaban.
He shuddered at the memory of his psychotic murderer of a sister. Fortunately for him, Bellatrix was place on the other side of the island far from his sight, along with her equally delusional husband.
The man had been too preoccupied with his thoughts to take notice of the dark narrowy path they were taking. After walking a series of long spiralling stairs of the prison tower, they landed on the first ground. This was the first time Black had seen the other parts of his prison tower before apart from his own cell. But he has heard that the lower grounds of the prison towers in Azkaban were reserved only for the baddest of the bad.
"Why are we he-"
Before the black bearded man could even finish his question, the guard push him from the back and found himself falling into a magical vortex contained in the ancient runes inscribed on the ground. It was a swirling mass of wild magic that could tear any magical being within close proximity to small chunks of minced meat sucking your magic. And that was not even the worst part. Finding yourself inside an unattended magical vortex was like singning yourself up for a never ending eternal ride of misery and pain. Once you were in their was no way out.
Even with death.
"Shit."
Sirius cursed as he braced himself for the impact thinking that he should have use the opportunity before to escape. He felt the vortex swallow his whole mass but instead of tearing him into chunks, Sirius felt as he was transported through a portkey, only that the sensation of squeezing out your internal guts was a million times worse. His back landed on a hard surface. The alarmed man quickly rose up to his feet surveiling his new surroundings. It was scarcely litted but he could see the room was fairly wide.
