Dom went to my house two weeks later so we can film. And honestly, I was quite nervous. Yet.. I felt excited and there were butterflies in my stomach. What was happening? Why am I feeling this way? Why am I so worried? I mean, this is just for a video. We're actors, and well return to being JUST friends after this video.
When Dom came to my house, I decided to stay positive and just have some fun. He said we won't practice the kiss and the first time and only time we'll kiss would be on camera so that it won't be so too weird. But I then thought, if I have to like really kiss Dom, I should give him a peck on the lips first to call down my anxiety. So I ended up pranking him and kissing him when we agreed we wouldn't kiss for practice. It was hilarious, he really got thrown off.
After Dom told me what to do, it was time to film the official kiss. It would just last for like less than five seconds. " 3 2 1 " the camera man said. I took a deep breath. Here we go. We walked towards each other and we kissed. I felt like time suddenly stopped and I completely forgot about all the people there and all of the lights set up. It was.. nice.. I guess you can say. " okay Cut! " the camera man said. And we pulled away.
Looking at Dom after that was completely awkward. I'm pretty sure he felt the elephant in the room too. He put his hand behind his head
" so um I guess that's it.. How bout a movie? " he asked nervously. Omg. He's so cute. Lilly! Stop it! Dom is just your friend. This was for a video and you will remain just friends " sure let's watch " I smiled.
