Chapter 11

Dom is coming over tonight. It's been so long since I've last seen him. I'm so excited for later it's stupid. I never would've thought that I would ever be this excited for a guy. It's so girly I feel stupid. Well, I guess some people just come into your life and change your perspective on things.

It's currently 9:00 pm and I just finished filming a video, writing some creatives, and checking my emails. Everyone in my team just went home and Dom is coming over in about 2 hours so I better get ready.
I know that we're just staying in my house and watching Netflix, but for some reason I wanna look nice, I cant look like a hot mess with him yet. But while I did still look like a hot mess I ended my vlog and did toilet talk. I can't show team super that I dressed up cause they're gonna be suspicious why I'm all of the sudden dressed up nicely this late. I hate doing this to them but the last thing I want is a public relationship. With the Internet, people just sometimes forget how to respect privacy.

I opened my closet and looked at everything I own. Okay, so I wanna be comfy, look hot, but also I don't want to look like I am trying to hard. Tank tops? Nope. T-Shirt? Nope. Dress? Hell no. After scanning my closet I decided to wear black skinny jeans and a white crop top. I also curled the bottom half of my hair. Wow, who even am I curling my hair just to watch some Netflix?

*ding*
I got a text message.

Dom: Hey Lilly I'm on my way there

hmm I should probably brush my teeth now and go chew some gum. You know, just in case..

Around 10:45 pm I heard my doorbell ring. I ran downstairs and spit my gum out in the trash can.
I opened the door and smiled, Dom was looking so handsome. " Hey " he greeted and we gave each other a peck on the lips. This was Dom and I's 6th date and we're now transitioning into the being super prepared and awkward stage to the more chill, cute, and comfortable stage.

We ended up ordering pizza and watching some movies on Netflix. While we were watching a movie Dom had his arm around me and I leaned on his shoulder enjoying each other's presence.
" Hey Lil " Dom randomly said. " Yeah? " I replied keeping my eyes still glued to the screen. " what are we? I mean like are we like official or anything? " he asked me.

And that's when it hit me. Official. Boyfriend. Girlfriend. Relationship. I just have commitment issues and I'm just a bad girlfriend. Even if Dom and I have been going on dates I actually never really thought about it too seriously. I'm not gonna lie but I'm kind of afraid of relationships and commitment, Like committing to one person and who knows if that person is cheating on you or something. Even if I really like Dom and enjoy his presence and being with him makes me happy, I just really need to think about it.
With my eyes still glued to the screen I replied with a simple " I don't know "

" well what do you mean you don't know? " he asked.
Ugh, one thing I hate about relationships is talking and agreeing about things. I got off of Dom's shoulder and I finally looked at him. " I don't know Dom. I just really don't know. If you're asking me if I'll be your girlfriend and if we're gonna be official I don't know yet. I really really like you but I have to think about it first."
" Lilly, it's okay. No pressure. Let's just go with the flow. " He replied looking me in the eyes.
" Go with the flow? " I questioned.
" Go with the flow. I mean let's just let things happen. Let's not plan anything and just live in the moment. When we're ready to tell people, let's tell people. But if we're not ready like how we are now, then let's just watch this movie and do whatever we wanna do " he said back.

Well this turned out surprisingly well. I know Dom doesn't think he's smart but he's actually very wise. It's a good thing cause I had such a long day, only 5 hours of sleep and the last thing I wanted to do was argue.

" Sounds good to me. And you know what? You're right, let's not let pressure and other things get to us. It'll just ruin what we have right now. Let's just continue with what we're doing and.. "
Dom interrupted me and kissed me on the lips.
" What? You were talking too much " he joked.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and gave him a peck on the lips back. With my arms still wrapped around his neck, I looked at him in the eyes and giggled
" you're so stupid "

I pulled Dom's neck towards me so that our lips met together again. We continued kissing and were laughing in between. We ended up making out on my couch. We continued kissing until..

*phone rings*

" ugh. Who's that? " I said as we broke our kiss.
I ran to the kitchen and checked my phone.

Kyle.

" Hello? " I asked.

Kyle: Hey Lilly. Sorry were you sleeping?

Lilly: No. But why are you calling at 12 am.

Kyle: Well I forgot my wallet there, can I go there and get it?

Lilly: Do you really need it tonight? Cause you're coming here early tomorrow morning

Kyle: Yes I need it tonight

Lilly: okay fine sure you can come

Kyle: yay! Thanks Lilly I'm on my way there.

As I hung up the phone I walked back to the living room " Sorry Kyle forgot his wallet and he's coming to get it " I said. I sat back down on the couch next to Dom.
" Let's just continue the movie "

Kyle's phone call just really ruined my mood. Once I'm in the mood to make out then I'm in the mood. However if something interrupts me then I cannot get into the mood any more.

Ten minutes later Kyle finally arrived

*ding dong*

"Coming!" I said walking downstairs to the door. " Hey I'm so sorry. " Kyle apologized then scanned me with his eyes " you look nice. Why? It's so late " Kyle said until he entered and walked upstairs and saw Dom sitting on the couch. " Oh. " he said surprised.

He continued to walk up the stairs " Hi Dom " he said awkwardly. " Hey " Dom replied still sitting on the couch.
I walked upstairs to my room with Kyle. As soon as we got my room Kyle looked at me
" Lilly, care to explain? " he whispered.
" what? " I acted clueless
" Lilly it's 12:15 in the morning and Dominic is here" he loudly whispered
" it's 12:15 in the morning and you can't wait to get your wallet in a couple of hours? " I questioned.
Kyle rolled rolled his eye and walked over to a table to get his wallet. " let's just talk about this later "
We both walked back downstairs and Kyle apologized to Dom " Sorry for.. whatever.. I interrupted " " it's all good " Dom replied.
" Lilly don't forget about your meeting tomorrow morning " Kyle reminded me as he walked towards the door. " Ugh. Please stop with the morning meetings!!" I complained like a child.
I closed the door after Kyle and sat back down on the couch and yawned. " Lilly I think I should get going it's pretty late. We can continue the movie next time " Dom said standing up. " okay " I said a bit disappointed. I walked Dom to the door, "bye" I said giving him a one armed hug
" Good night Lilly " he kissed my cheek.

Lol I actually wrote this chapter in December but I never realized that it was just sitting in my drafts.. Oops 😅

Anyways, I MISS DOMILLY 😭
I don't think it's dead however, just cause you don't see them on  social media together it doesn't mean that they don't text or hang out. Whatever happens, I think that they'll always be close friends
