Falling For Dominic

Chapter 8

Sunday finally came. I spent the whole week mentally and physically preparing myself for my date with Dom.
Dom is a special guy. I don't wanna blow it. I mean, even if we hang out a lot, a date is different! Also, it's been years since I last went on a date! What if I do something really embarrassing or stupid?

Dom was gonna pick me up at my house at 6 pm, and It's currently 2:30. I better get ready.

I tried on literally every nice outfit in my closet and my bed was full of clothes.

I ended up wearing a crop top and some jeans. I curled my hair and put on makeup. Of course I wore my Bawse lipstick. I didn't want to dress so over the top and be uncomfortable.

I was so nervous. I didn't know why. I mean Dom and I have hung out alone lots of times. But I guess a this time is different.

I was in my room applying final touches of makeup until Kyle yelled running up to my room " Lilly Dom is downstairs. Why's he... "

" oh " he said surprised as he saw me. " you look nice "

" thanks " I replied.

Kyle: You never told me that you're going out with D Trix

Lilly: It's not such a big deal Kyle. I mean, its not gonna turn into anything too serious. It's just a date. No harm done.

Kyle: If you say so..

Ugh Kyle was being so annoying. I walked down the stairs and saw Dom sitting on the couch. Boy does he look nice. He was wearing converse, black pants, and a grey button down.

" hey, you look... Pretty " he greeted me
" thanks. Same to you " I replied
" well, I try " Dom joked

Dom ended up driving me to a secret location. To be honest, I actually liked it. I don't get surprised a lot, so this was different. But like a good kind of different.

We then arrived at a very dark alley. And I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared. This place legit looks like a suspense movie where people get kid napped.

Dom then went down the car and opened my door. What a gentleman

Dom: Are you ready?

Lilly: Are you sure this is the area?

Dom: Yup

Lilly: If you say so..

I then got out of the car and Dom held my hand leading me somewhere. It was so dark I had no idea where he was taking me.

Lilly: Dom are you sure you know where we're going? It's kinda dark here.

Dom: Yes Lilly. I know where we're going. Don't you trust me?

Lilly: Yeah I do. I just hate not knowing where I am

Dom: Yeah I know, Dont worry

He then all of the sudden opened a door that lead to a room. The room had brick walls and a concrete floor. There was also a table with a white table cloth, a candle, and two chairs. Dom pulled out one of the chairs " have a seat "
" thanks " I sat down on the chair and he sat down on the other chair.

Lilly: So what is this place?

Dom: It's just an empty lot that I dance in sometimes. Nothing special.

Dom: So you hungry?

Lilly: yeah I am actually

All of the sudden Jerel that came out holding two plates. " dinner is served " he placed two bowls of Mac and cheese on our table.

Lilly: oh my gosh. Mac n cheese. Dom you are so thoughtful

Dom: glad you like it

We ended up talking and laughing like we normally do, except this time it felt special.

Dom: So how are you enjoying tonight?

Lilly: Honestly the white table cloth and the candle is so cheesy it's like a movie, I giggled

Dom: Well, that's the point. Doesn't everyone deserve to live their dream cheesy romantic movie?

Oh, and did I forget to mention that for dessert was a bowl of skittles? Cause it was. Dom is so sweet and thoughtful.

I love how he didn't just take me to a restaurant or anything like that. He's so creative.

After eating, we walked around a park. The weather was nice. It wasn't too hot, it wasn't too cold. It was perfect. We mostly just talked about our family. He told me about his parents and siblings, and I told him about mine.

After walking in the park he dropped me off at home. " Thanks Dom. I had a good time " I said as I entered my house.
" Well, see ya soon " Dom smiled as I closed the car door.

As I entered my house and closed the front door, I had my back against the door and slid down and sat on my butt.

Omg I just went on a date with Dom. I JUST WENT ON A DATE WITH DOM.

I was about to go to bed until I remembered I had to end my vlog.
" what's up! I just came from a really productive meeting, give me the points! I had a VERY productive day today" of course I didn't tell Team super about my date with Dom. I hate lying to them, but it's just for the best.

As I got into bed I heard a ding from my phone. It was a text. I wonder who that can be?

Dom: Hey Lilly hope you had a good time. Sweet dreams :)

I smiled as I read his text. I replied
" Sweet Dreams Dom "
