But then I got extremely busy. I didn't have time for anything except work. The squad kept inviting me over and kept asking to hang out, but as much as I wanted to, I couldn't. My job is my number one priority and nothing else.

Of course I stayed connected with them through social media and texting in our text group. And the rare moments that I was available to hang out with my friends, they would always tease me about Dom and vise versa. We normally don't say anything and we just laugh it off. But sometimes I wonder, if we know we're just friends and nothing else, why don't we just say no and deny it? Why don't we just tell everyone that we're just friends?

Dom began taking over my mind. All I could think about was Dom and I didn't know why. How could I be thinking about a friend 24/7? But I'm Superwoman. And I'm as busy as ever. I don't need any distractions stopping me from my hustle.

So I got rid of everything Dom. I stopped messaging him, I stopped calling him, I didn't hang out with any friends at all, and I tried to ignore him on all social media.

I hustled harder everyday. Eventually I got extremely tired and I felt something was missing in my life. I ended up only getting at least 2 hours of sleep every night. I got super stressed and I felt like the world was spinning. It wasn't until Kyle told me that I should take a break before I break down. I then realized that I needed some balance between work and me time.

I ended up going Twitter and liking Dom's newest tweet. I then immediately got a text message

Dom: long time no see..

Lilly: hey yeah I've been super busy lately..

Dom: yeah I know. I watch your vlogs

Lilly: Awe thanks 😘😘.

Dom: anyways, are you going to Alex's later?

Gosh! I completely forgot. It's Lauren's birthday today..

Lilly: oh yeah. I'm not sure.. I still have some emails to answer and other things

Dom: oh come on Lilly. You work way too hard. You deserve a break.

Lilly: I'll think about it

Dom: see ya there!! 😉

I thought for a while. Will I go to Alex's? I mean Lauren is my sister but..
hmm, maybe I do need a break.

So yes, I ended up going to Lauren's birthday get together to watch the fight. It was nice to see everyone, I felt like it's been forever! Well, maybe it actually has been...

I finally saw all my friends again, and Dom.

One of the things that I love about my friends is that even if we don't see each other for a long time, it's like no time has passed at all.

Dom and I ended up sitting beside each other during the fight. It was hilarious how Dom was so into it. We were talking and laughing the whole time. And I could always see Lauren eyeing us whenever we were laughing. Then I thought to myself. Maybe I do need to talk to Lauren. I mean, we've known each other for like two years! And Alex and Dom are super close, so they're always together. Lauren would understand.

After the fight Lauren and I went to a room and talked.

Lauren: " Lilly. I know there's something up with you and Dom "

Lilly: " ugh. Fine. Maybe I do have the smallest tiniest crush on Dom. "

Lauren: " Ha! I knew it! I could see it in your eyes Lilly. You guys just have a spark whenever you're together. And everyone can see that spark. "

Lilly: " everyone? "

Lauren: " everyone. "

Lilly: " ugh. Lauren I have no idea what to do. "

Lauren: " omg I can't believe Lilly is finally getting into a relationship!! Anyways, Dom is totally into you. You should just ask him out "

Lilly: " Ask him out? I don't know about that.. "

Lauren: " this is honestly so cute. Ms Superwoman is finally in love. Well, tomorrow's the finale of Game of Thrones. You guys both love that show. Why don't you invite him over? "

Lilly: " hm.. I'll think about it "
