Falling For Dominic

Chapter 4

     Watching the movie was kinda awkward. Of course we had popcorn, cause what's a movie without popcorn right. What's awkward was that we were watching Grown Ups. That movie is hilarious, but I felt like we were just forcing ourselves to laugh. It was.. strange. What was even more awkward was that I was sitting in between Humble and Dom. And I think Humble realized how awkward it was. Thank god for popcorn.

After Dom left my house, Humble immediately looked at me. " So.. What's going on between you and D Trix? " " Nothing. We're just friends filming a video together. You know that " I immediately replied.

That night I couldn't sleep. So many thoughts ran through my mind, mainly " Oh my gosh. Dom is the best kisser ever! " " what's gonna happen after this? ". And also, our friends didn't know that we were filming this video.. So what will they think when they see it online? Oh my. This is gonna be a long night.

The video was posted about ten days later and I haven't seen or talked to Dom since then. I guess the best thing to do is text Dom about how nice the video is. I have to admit, it was really nice. As I was about to text Dom, I got a call from Lauren.

" Hello? " I answered

" Lilly! Omg Dom's newest video!! "

" Um yeah what about it? " I casually asked like it was nothing.

" what about it? WHAT ABOUT IT? I think you forgot to tell me something Lilly "

" okay, okay. So we kissed.. It was just for Dom's  video that was made for entertainment purposes and nothing else "

" um.. Are you sure?? That kiss looks pretty legit girl! Why did you not tell me about this??"

" Look. It was just a collab so it's not that big of a deal "

" if you say so... " Lauren said in sing song then hung up the phone.

I continued to text Dom " Hey!! The video is so cool and creative! Glad we got to collab :) " he immediately replied " Thanks! It wouldn't be good without you :) . Anyways, see you @ Swoozie's party!! "

The next day I went to Alex's house for SWooZie's surprise party. Everyone was asking me about Dom. " So Lilly.. about you and D Trix? " Alex teased. I rolled my eyes " It's just a collab. We're friends and nothing else "

I had to say that about 10 more times that night.

Lauren later on pulled me aside to have some girl talk " Okay, Lil. Are you sure you don't like D Trix? Cause I've know both of you for a really long time."
" Lauren! I'm 100% sure. We're just friends, and that's all we'll ever be " I replied kind of annoyed.
" Lilly. Don't try to hide it. I know you! You and Dom have always had something special. You guys have great chemistry!" I honestly didn't know how to reply. It's a good thing Alex called us cause SWooZie was on his way up.

SWooZie also asked me about Dom " How was D Trix? " of course I had to be honest and tell him he was a great kisser. Probably the best kisser I've ever kissed.

Later on that night we ended up going around LA to play Pokémon Go. Yes, that's true adulting right there. Oh, and Dom ended up following. We just greeted each other with a simple " what's up " and continued to just laugh and be friends. That's what I loved about Dom. I could just be me. I didn't need to change myself for him, and he didn't need to change himself for me.

Lauren on the other hand, kept eyeing me whenever I was near Dom.

Even if I have fallen for Dom, I kept it a secret. And we continued to be friends just like I planned. However, I felt like our friendship has gotten even stronger. I knew things about him that no one else knew, and he knew things about me that know when else knew. Life was great, But I still did not want a relationship.
