CHAPTER 22

RECAP of Chapter 21:
"Nu-uh." I argued then yawned.
He chuckled and sat back in his seat. "Go to sleep, babe."
"Not until you place your ass right here." I said taping the empty part of the bed beside me.
"Fine."
After a lot of trouble, trying to get Stefan through all the tubes and cords, we were finally settled.
"Good night, I love you." Stefan said kissing the back of my head.
"Rawr." Was all I said until I fell into another dreamless sleep.

I woke up again, and it wasn't as hard to open my eyes. I looked around and this time Hannah and Tegan were awake while Stefan was asleep beside me. I sat up, which wasn't a very bright idea there was a sharp pain in my right side. I pulled my shirt up a little to look and saw stitches. Figures, what did I do now?
"Pssst." I tried getting Hannah and Tegan's attention.
They both stopped their conversation and looked at me.
"She's awake!" They both all but yelled.
"Would you keep it down? What happened to me?"
"Your appendix almost ruptured." Tegan said then added. "You had to have surgery to get it removed."
"What?!"
"She said-" Hannah started but I cut her off.
"I know what she said! Well that could explain how I got these stitches." I said calming down, and lifting my hospital gown slightly to show them my battle
wounds.
"Well that looks disturbed." Tegan said scrunching her nose up.
I looked down at my stomach and poked it. Well that wasn't the brightest idea. That tiny poke hurt a lot.
"Ouch!" I complained then groaned and threw my head back, aren't these people supposed to be giving me pain medicine? In the process of throwing my
head back I managed to hit Stefan, and not on purpose.
He jolted awake a looked at me for a second before asking. "How are you feeling?"
"I thought normally someone would freak out because they got woken up."
"Theres an exception for you though."
"Right... I'm feeling okay I guess."
"You guess?"
"Well I poked my stomach where the stitches were and it made it hurt."
"Well you're not the brightest out of all the bulbs."
"Thanks for the insult."
"No problem. Do you remember waking up last night?"
"Nope. All I remember is fainting. Which is not normal for me, I have never fainted before in my life."
"I'll go get the doctor." Hannah said randomly and pulled Tegan up with her. The two girls walked out the door in search for the doctor.
"That was random." Stefan said speaking my mind.
