The hustle of the school was more vibrant than usual.
Halls filled with hushed whispers and wandering eyes.

She walked down the hallway and found it.
Paper covering every inch of the long space.
It covered the lockers, doors, walks and even the floor.
The hallway was a winter wonderland but with loose paper.
She grabbed a piece off the ground and gasped.
One a brief glance, she recognised the handwriting.
It was her letter about her mother's infidelity.
Isla reached for another and another and another.
Each letter was another secret, but they weren't all hers.
She was stupid. She deserved this. She shouldn't have trusted.
