Okay so I was trying to talk to my mom to see her opinion on the LGBTQ community cuz she never really talks about it and she's super Christian

The conversation:

Me: why do people hate the lgbtq community so much like I get it you have your opinions. I get it if you don't think a man should be with a man or a woman should be with a woman or whatever but you dont have to hate them. Like is two people of the same gender being together affecting you in any way? Or enough to make you hate them so much?

Mom- so listen. You know that me and your dad believe from the bible that 2 people of the same gender shouldn't be together. Now I understand that a man can have feelings for another man, and I accept that. I have a gay uncle and I still love him. But do I think it's natural and what we should do, no. God created a man and a woman to be together.

So basically my mom accepts it, but she doesn't really think that's what people should do, she doesn't think it's natural. But she accepts it.

I still don't know about my dad tho.
