Problems and Talk

Elsa's POV

Tadashi and I worked on our assignment till 8 ó clock. He was very nice and we were quick to get it done. His Aunt Cass is the sweetest thing. She tried to make me as comfortable as possible, continuing to give me all her food. I only saw Hiro once and he was just coming to get a donut. I was a little disappointed but I knew he probably had more important things to do.

I said bye to Tadashi and started to walk on a trail. It was a dark night but the moon was shining above me. It was a little breezy but it had no effect on me. Suddenly, I realized this path was familiar. The trees seemed to have recognized me too as they swayed back and forth. I look up to see a familiar silhouette resting on a tree branch. I smirk, "You always did have a thing for sleeping in trees." Jack Frost turns around and gives a smile, "They're comfortable." I put my hands on my hips as he leaps down from the branch and I ask, "Really?"

"Nope." We both laugh making it seem like old times. Jack and I soon talk about homework and school then we suddenly switch it to the prom. It's weird but it seemed like Jack was acting a bit funny. I questioned a little out of the blew, "Is there something you need to say?" Jack looked confused, "What do you mean?" I shrugged, "Well, you're the one who started to talk about the prom and you've been acting a bit antsy." As I said this, it did not sound like the Jack I was describing. Jack Frost was our schools devious bad boy and usually hides his own feelings tucked away in his cold heart. Now looking at him, I see him smiling and acting funky.

Jack sighed, "Fine," he suddenly looked calmer, "I was hoping you'd want to come to the Prom with me." I was shocked although overjoyed on the inside. I lift an eyebrow, "Seriously?" He nodded. Then I realized something, "Wait, what about Rapunzel?" Jack frowned and looked down, "Well the truth is, I do wanna go with her too-BUT if you say yes, I'll go with you." Now I suddenly feel a little angry, "So your saying its a win-win for you if I say yes or no?" Now he looked like he felt bad, "No that's not what I meant-"

"I know," I start to breathe, "I'm sorry. I would really like to go with you, Jack, but..I don't want to hurt Punzie." Jack agreed, "Me neither, but I think Punzie can handle it. Please go with me." I was torn. I liked Jack but it seems like he's willing to hurt my cousin. I confront him for it and we start getting into a huge fight. I yell out, "That's it! Ok? Just go with Rapunzel." Jack groans, "I will," he starts to fly away but turns around again, "I like Punzie. I would never hurt her."

Then he was gone. I was left there on my own. I wanted to cry but I suck it up. Don't cry Elsa, I told myself. But as I go down the trail, a tear slips down my face and I just fall apart. Big girls don't cry. Big girls don't cry..
