Wilbur's POV

As I sat on my bed, I thought about Hiro and something hit me to call him. I grabbed my phone and dialed his number. I don't know why I wanted to do this but something was telling me I had to. He soon answered, sounding a bit annoyed, "Hello?" It was only 7:30 so I didn't see how I would wake him, "Hey man, what's up?" He groaned on the other line, "Just laying in bed while my brother has a study date.." I smirked to myself, "Ah, a study date?"

"With Elsa, the snow queen." I could tell in his voice that he's not fond of Elsa right now. Well, I guess he shouldn't be if it's a study date. I ask shocked, "Elsa? Are you sure it's a study date, Hiro? He's dating Honey Lemon." I heard Hiro sigh and start to unstiffen, "Well..it's probably not a study date but still." I just rubbed my head, "And I thought you were starting to think Elsa was not so-."

"She isn't, but when she's threatening Tadashi's relationship with Honey Lemon, that draws some lines." I feel exasperated, "How do you know she is?" Hiro suddenly became quiet and I thought he hung up on me. Hiro finally answers, "I don't, but I just don't wanna tempt anything..you know."

"Yeh. But I bet you everything will be just fine."

"I hope so." Then I decided to change the subject, "So, are you asking Penny to the Prom?" It sounded like Hiro was starting not to worry about Elsa, "I want to. Obviously you're going to ask Violet." I start to feel like crud, "If she's not hung up on Tony all over again.." Now Hiro started to act like I told him I grew another head, "Dude, you aren't getting at that again, are you?" I didn't answer. I couldn't. I had this bad feeling that Violet secretly liked him. I decided to tell Hiro that I saw her texting him AGAIN after school today. I'm not sure what else to do. I mean, Hiro is the only person I told. I don't think my parents or my other family members for that matter would understand. My dad may be an inventor but I'm pretty sure he doesn't know the science of love in teenagers. Hiro was listening with what felt like he actually understood even on top of his own problems. Man, what's the deal with love in high school? Hiro gave a little laugh, "I think you're overreacting just a little bit."

"I know..I'm just venting how I feel. I guess that isn't fair to you."

"No it's just fine. I'm your friend and I should be able to listen to you while I go on with my girl issues." We both laugh and talk a little more. I'm glad I have a friend like Hiro to talk about this to.

Violet's POV

Me and Penny walk down the sidewalk of an abandoned street and it's just downright quiet. Maybe it's the fact that I have to put up with my loud family but I think it's more than that. I had a bad feeling inside that I couldn't speak. It was normal that I was quiet but that was usually in a group. I'm with Penny, my BEST FRIEND. I just can't get that feeling out and it was obvious I was acting funny. Penny turned to me and asked concerned, "Are you okay?" I just came right out and said it, "I think Wilbur is upset with me."

Penny looked really confused, "What? Why would Wilbur be upset with you?" I breathe in and pull out my phone, "Tony keeps texting me and I think it's giving Wilbur the wrong message." Penny questions, "Well why don't you tell Tony to stop texting you?" I sighed, "I did. I'm not that influential." Penny kind of laughs, "You were literally like that every time Wilbur hit on you."

"He's different. Wilbur was never like Tony. I could actually stand my ground with Wilbur without falling head over heals for him and having me on a leash." Penny was confused, "I didn't know Tony was like that when you guys dated."

"He wasn't," I slumped into the nearest bench, "What's the point? No one even gets me. I'm probably the only one with boy problems." Penny flung her arms out, "Are you kidding me? Hiro hasn't even asked me to the Prom..he's the only guy I want to go with." I was a little shocked but I just sat there. She continued and even started pacing, "I mean, sure we're going to hang out tomorrow after school but that doesn't mean squat. I don't even think I should get my hopes up cause he has all of these girl groupies with him and-."

"Wait what?" I started to laugh, "Girl GROUPIES??" Penny nodded somewhat uncomfortable, "Yeah, Tip and Riley were clinging onto him this morning when he--or THEY--were talking to me." I roll my eyes. How could Penny be so bothered by something that isn't even a problem? Well, I guess she doesn't know that Tip and Riley were talking to me how they got Hiro and Penny to hang tomorrow. But still. I just shrug, "I guess all we can do is hope for the best." We shook on it and started to walk back to her house.
