Violet's POV

Finally it's lunch time and I'm starving! My mom packed me a caesar salad and I'm ready to eat. It's actually the first time I could really eat in a while. My stomach has been in knots thinking about the Tony texting me situation. Wilbur has been clear to me he doesn't want me texting him, but it's so hard to get away from him. Tony is texting me all the time and I just can't ignore it or it will continue going. I promise with all my heart I don't like Tony Rydinger. The only guy I wanna date right now is Wilbur Robinson.

Then get a text message and of course it's Tony.. Why does he wanna talk to me now?? I look at the text and I'm horrified.

He writes, Hey Violet, I have a Dance at my school tomorrow night and I was wondering if you can be my date. Text me your answer. Hope to pick you up later ;)

Why is he suddenly so into me?? I thought of Wilbur and how crushed he'll be if he sees this! He's already saw me two other times texting Tony and I don't want him to think I'm not into him. I was about to answer Heck No I Have A BoyFriend! but Ms. Ford called for the last time to go to our lockers and I left my lunch in there. In the quick rush, I left my phone on the table and ran out to the lockers. I hope my food hasn't become rotten..

Wilbur's POV

I walked with Hiro into the Cafeteria a little worn out from last night. The talk with Hiro really helped but I was feeling like something was wrong still. Then we finally sat at the table where we usually sit and Penny was already there but Violet was gone. Why wasn't she there? Maybe she forgot something in her locker. I looked over and saw her phone on the table. Curiosity took over. Something in me wanted to turn it up and look at it. I did. I opened it up and saw Tony had texted her. That guy! Didn't Violet stop texting this jerk?? I couldn't believe what I was reading! He wanted to take her to a dance!! She didn't even write no. I was disappointed. She promised me she would take care of this. How could she-. Suddenly, Violet came in with her forgotten lunch box and I stood up, holding her phone behind my back. She smiled at me which was probably fake, "Hey babe." She leaned in to kiss me and I pulled away, "Don't babe me." She looked confused, "What?" I held up her phone, "You know what." Violet gasped, "Wilbur!" She grabbed her phone from me and I started to speak, "I thought you weren't going to talk to him! You told me the first time you weren't talking to him!" Now we were starting to draw a crowd and Penny and Hiro looked worried. I didn't care though, I was still mad at Violet. Violet looked fumed, "I thought you were going to trust me! You don't trust me that I don't like him!" Hiro stood up and started to walk toward us, "Guys this has to stop." Violet started to walk by me, "I'm done with this." When she walked by me, my foot was out and she tripped over it, falling down to the ground. I totally didn't mean to do that! When I was about to apologize, Hiro came by her side and picked her up. That gave me a pang of jealousy. Violet stood up and nodded to him she was fine, but a frown was across her face. I sighed and walked out of the cafeteria. My unsettled feelings got the best of me, I know that. But I'm just so upset! My girlfriend is angry, I'm angry and I'm not even sure if she wants to do Prom anymore or even this relationship.

Hiro's POV

I don't know what just happened. Everything was going ok, or at least I thought. Wilbur never said he was upset or anything, Violet hasn't said anything to me either but I guess that's not my business. I turn to Violet, who was watching her boyfriend walk away from his problems, and I ask with Penny on her other side now, "Are you ok?" Violet just stood there as a tear trickled down her face, Penny pulled her into a hug and Violet just started to cry. I felt so bad for her. She was really hurting and to make it worse everyone had seen her first real fight with Wilbur. Still they were watching. Penny just held her probably feeling bad for her friend too then she looked at me, "Maybe you should go talk to Wilbur." I give a grim laugh, "There are a TON of things I'd like to say to that guy, but I've already tried to help him with this and he blew it. Now it's his turn and even Violet's to work this out." Penny nodded and turned away to Violet who was wiping the tears. I understand what Wilbur was upset about. Violet had talked to her ex when Wilbur told her he had a problem with her talking to Tony, but she did it anyway and hid it from Wilbur. This is a really big mess! If we thought starting high school was hard, now we're dealing with high school relationships and it's NOT turning out well.

Penny's POV

I get what Hiro's trying to say about letting Wilbur figure this out on his own, but he needs his best friend right now just like Violet needs me. My best friend was crying on my shoulder. She did go behind Wilbur's back but not intentionally. Wilbur made a mistake yelling at her the way he did and not trusting her. They both made mistakes and they just need help fixing it. Wilbur and Violet will make up, I know it..I hope so at least.
