James opened his eyes, looking up at the ceiling, as he felt his arms tied with something rough, rubbing against his skin leaving a light burn mark. He looked around the room, seeing Richard was tied up, leaning against the wall, sitting down in almost the exact place Jax and Caroline were sitting when they tied them up. He began to worry about Jax, but more importantly Caroline. He knew she got into the house after he was shot, but he saw the gas get thrown inside and he was afraid about what that gas was. He began to struggle, trying to pull free of the ties, but he wasn't able to. The rope just burned more along his arms as he attempted to escape. A man walked into the room, holding a rifle and standing by the door as another man walked in after him.
"Hello." The man said, standing in front of the bed as he looked at James and Richard. The two of them didn't respond. They just looked at the man, worried and confused. "Don't worry. You both aren't in trouble." He said in a joking tone. "We saved your life if anything. Your gunshot wound could've been a lot worse."
"Well I wouldn't have been shot if it wasn't for you." James said.
"Well I'm sorry for that. But it wasn't me who shot you." The man said. "My name is Norman by the way. This fellow over here is Tobias." He said. "Like I said. You two aren't in trouble. You're only tied up because chances are you'll try to kill us, so I hope that's understandable. How about you tell me both your names." Norman said.
James glared at the man, feeling his arms burn against the rope that was holding him down. "James." He said. "Man over there is Richard."
Richard looked at James and glared, confused on why he told him their names. "So what do you want." James asked."All I want, is for you to pledge your loyalty to my leader." Norman said. "It's that simple."
"I'll pledge once you tell me where my family is." James said.
Norman sighed. "They're safe. Can you take my word on it?" He said.
James continued to glare at him. He was nervous and scared, but mostly worried about his family. He was worried about Caroline. "Fine." He said. "I pledge my loyalty." James said, as Richard's eyes widened and looked up at him.
"Fantastic." Norman said. "How about you?" He said, turning to Richard.
Richard looked up at him and suddenly spit down at his shoes. "Fuck off." Richard said.
Norman smiled seamlessly as he turned to Tobias and did a small motion with his head, as he went over to untie James. Tobias walked over, pulling out a rag and blindfolding Richard, along with putting one in his mouth.
"Hey wait, what's going to happen to him?" James asked.
Norman finished untying him. "Richard will be fine. He will just stay here until he decides to pledge. That simple." He said as he smiled.
James glared at him, looking over at Richard and then back at Norman, as he gave him a small nod.
"Okay, it's settled then." Norman said as suddenly a blindfold when over James' eyes and he was being forced to walk. He didn't question it really, he had already pledged, there was nothing more that was going to happen to him. He was walking for a while, then he was suddenly sat down and the sound of a car rumbled beneath him. The movement stopped as he was grabbed, and then there was walking for a while again. The blindfold was suddenly pulled off from him, and a large guarded gate stood in front of him. "Ready to get to work?" Norman asked, standing next to him.
James looked at him and glared, a bit confused. "Will I get to see my friends again?" He asked.
Norman nodded. "Of course." He said.
James turned to face the gate again. "Then I'm ready." He said.
James worked inside the scrap yard for two weeks. He didn't see his friends, he never heard about Richard. All he was doing was sorting crap for some god unknown reason, but he didn't question it. He was determined, and he knew at the end of all of this he will see his friends again. He slowly worked his ass off, shifting his way up to becoming a guard of the scrap yard, becoming close to Ava, the leader of the place. One of the days, he suddenly noticed a slightly cut off area from the scrap yard. He walked over, slipping through the broken fence as he walked for a while. He began to smell a rotten smell. A smell of burning flesh filled the air as he suddenly saw them. Colton,Smithy and Caroline. All tied up to a fence. He walked over, grabbing his canteen of water and kneeling down in front of Caroline, giving her the water.
