Flip nervously backs off, eyes fixed on the two-dimensional creatures on the wall of light.
FLIP: I'm getting outta here.
EXT. NEVERTOON/THE MOON - TIMELESS
Roku's hand thrusts out of the portal, going straight for Flip...
EXT. HILL BY THE SEA/PROMONTORY - DAY
...instantly, bolts of lightning zip through the air, traveling from the water right below the promontory to the clouds in the sky.
MARIA: (V.O.) But creatures from the magical world could not exist on Earth as they were. It would alter reality and cause tremendous peril.
Sharp veins of lightning prick the dragon's intruding hand, seemingly trying to get a message home -- you do not belong in this world!
Roku's hand quivers --
MARIA: (V.O) So, like his past visitations, the dragon needed a vessel – a human body – to carry him for the duration of the eclipse.
-- but it pushes on.
FLIP
Terrified, Flip turns and sprints across the promontory to the direction of the house on the hill, screaming...
FLIP: Mom! Moooom!
