But looking at it from where Roku stands, the creeping dark swarm is really shaping an intricate mosaic: a sinister version of Miluna's face.
Its eyes are tightly shut.
MARIA: (V.O.) The moon had a split personality: a bright one and a dark one.
BACK TO SCENE
Roku is frozen in horror.
MARIA: (V.O.) Lurking in the depths of the moon, the Dark Personality had always posed the peril of extinction to the world of magic.
Roku's tail continues to burn surrounding him and the cloud with light that the darkness can't slice through.
Then the flames singe Roku's hand --
ROKU: Owww!
-- and he quickly extinguishes it with a forceful blow.
