EXT. Baseball field - day
Flip and Luther are now both lying on the ground, staring at cloud formations.
LUTHER: When I grow up, I wanna be a robot like your dragon.
FLIP: But you said you have a dream to be a Baptist minister and help black people.
LUTHER: I can do that better as a robot.
With a sigh and a look of dismay, Flip turns to Luther.
FLIP: Shut up, Martin Luther! Robots have no heart. Mom said, "You lose your heart, you lose what you are meant to be."
LUTHER: But, Flip, they're making robotic hearts now.
EXT. THE LANDFILL - DAY
We see a mountain of decaying trash and garbage framing the distant town.
It is now a vision of Industrial Gothic where there are as many factories as there are houses.
MARIA: (V.O.) The dragon knew that this world, too, was coming to an end. It broke the dragon's heart for the Earth had become his home too.
INT. MARIA'S HOUSE/MARIA's ROOM - NIGHT
Maria is fast asleep, a framed photograph of her son beside her.
