Morning Mishaps and Training

Chapter 8

The morning rises and the sound of the birds chirping can be heard loud and clear. Kourin woke up from her sleep and she got up from her bed.

"Ah, so you're awake?" She immediately heard someone called her, and Kourin glanced around.

"Aichi..." Kourin saw Aichi grinning at her as he sat by the chair in front of the bed. She would ignore him but she realized Aichi was not wearing anything except for the towel wrapped around his waist.

She noticed how Aichi's body was a bit muscular, it was probably because of the training he would have.

"W-why aren't you wearing anything?!" Kourin said, she blushed.

"O-oh, I'm sorry. Is this considered indecent?" Aichi asked.

"O-of course! Why are you even inside my room and naked?! I don't remember you asking for permission to go inside here!"

Aichi then smiled slyly, he crossed his arms as he gave a mischievous look at her.

"Princess, I knew you won't remember." He said.

"Huh? What does that even mean, young knight?!"

Aichi gave a light chuckle, "You don't remember drinking white wine?"

Kourin got shocked by Aichi's words, she didn't want to believe that, but somehow she could remember a blurry scene.

"I-I did? But that's impossible! I'll never drink wine and never will be!" She protested.

Yet Aichi pointed at the empty wine bottle on the floor, "That's one proof."

Kourin glanced at it and she got even more surprised. What exactly happened last night?!

"You drank a lot last night, and you didn't want to stop drinking. And when I took you inside your room, you-"

"I did what?!" Kourin interrupted with a visible blush on her face.

"Like I said, when I brought you here, you kept on saying I can't stop you from drinking. So you literally... drank them all." Aichi continued, "Were you thinking of something else, Princess?"

"No!" Kourin replied.

Aichi then smirked, he got up from his seat and sat next to Kourin.

"Why are you naked anyways?" Kourin asked him.

"I sleep with only my shorts," Aichi replied.

"But you're naked right now! You're being indecent!"

"Well, let's just say that I wanted to remove my clothes for no particular reason. That's it."

"Aichi, you know... just because we're engaged, it doesn't mean you can do this to me. And what happened to that flower crown-making innocent kid I knew from before? All I'm seeing right now is a weird naked guy who's probably a pervert!"

"Hey, that's rude!"

Kourin also crossed her arms and glared at Aichi. Aichi then took a breath, and smiled. "I'm sorry, okay? It has become a habit of me. I'll wear my clothes." Aichi said.

As Aichi stood, he took his clothes from the desk. He turned his back on Kourin and he wore his shirt, Kourin noticed something on Aichi's back. It has a huge scar and it looked like it came from an attack.

Kourin was curious and worried at the same time. Did something happen to Aichi before? So she asked.

"Where did that scar come from?"
