Chapter 12
"So..." Kourin was staring at Aichi as she was lying on the bed and Aichi is sitting by the chair and inspecting his sword. "Kai had the goddess made the one to bless us on our wedding."
"Yes of course, and for that to happen, they had to spar." Aichi replied.
"Spar? The Kagero leader had a spar with the goddess?! How idiotic can that Kai be?!"
Aichi laughed at Kourin's reaction, he puts his sword on the desk and looked back at Kourin.
"I wouldn't say he's idiotic, it's just that he said that the goddess won't let him exchange with his dragon. So instead, they spar. But then, their spar became dangerous and deadly." Aichi replied with a grin.
Kourin sighed, "That's totally ridiculous."
"Totally," Aichi repeated. "They're the ones who made a huge damage on that forest."
"Oh dear goodness," Kourin took a deep breath and took the blankets. "Good night." She said and turned away from Aichi.
Aichi smiled and approached the bed and lay down beside Kourin and Kourin shared the blankets with him.
"Good night too, princess." He whispered and closed his eyes to sleep.

The next morning came, Takuto was sitting on the chair in his office and is reading the papers. His gaze on the letters was put away as he heard the door of the office opened.
The elder princess, Suiko appeared. She went to Takuto and stood in front of him.
"My king, you have called for me?" Suiko spoke.
"Yes, I want to talk to you about some things. Mostly about the young leader and Kourin." Takuto replied.
"Oh, what about them?"
"Do you think that their marriage will be able to keep the clans in peace?"
"Of course, they all decided to keep everything in peace. It is really not the nation's type to go and just have a war."
"Very good," Takuto breathed in relaxation.
"Why did you even ask that, Takuto?" Suiko asked in confusion.
"Well," Takuto stood from his seat and took something from the drawer. He showed it to Suiko. "This arrow was nearly hit on Kourin, but fortunately Aichi saved her from that. I really don't understand why someone would attack your sister, but this only tells that someone wants to give us trouble."
"I see, so that's why you sent more guards to protect her." Suiko commented, she suddenly felt concerned and worried for her sister.
Takuto sat back on his chair and looked at the arrow, then he noticed something on the wood. A small writing, a short message.
Princess Kourin is mine!
"No one can have Kourin than Aichi, but the attacker seem to have an unhealthy obsession with the second princess." Said Takuto and gave a small sigh.
"Do you think it's that intruder named Morikawa? That weird fanatic who crashed the party?"
"That might be, and maybe on the loose again."
"We should tell the other nations about this, if either of the couple gets hurt, this will be a huge problem." Suiko commented.
Takuto agreed and they both talk a bit more about the sudden attack, it was quite a serious topic to have.
Then all of a sudden, Kourin went inside the room and ignoring the guards calls to calm down. She looked so annoyed and mad.
"Kourin? What's wrong?" Takuto asked.
"Are you seriously wanting me to get married with that stupid pervert?!" Kourin exclaimed.
"What?"
"I want you to arrest Aichi for sexual harassment!" Kourin yelled.
Takuto and Suiko looked at each other in confusion, and then looked back at Kourin.
"What happened?" Asked Suiko.
"The great Aichi of the Royal Paladins touched me inappropriately while we were at the bed and-"
"Princess!" Aichi ran towards Kourin and he stood in front of the king.
"Please don't believe her, it was an accident! We were both sleeping so I must not have thought about it! I swear it wasn't my-"
Aichi then got silent as Kourin covers his mouth with her hands.
"Will you really believe him?! He was lying! We're both awake when he touched my chest! How's that not sexual harassment?!"
"It was an accident!" Aichi wrestled against Kourin but Kourin pushed him down the floor and puts her heels on Aichi's back, kicking him.
"Princess! O-okay! I-it's my fault! Please stop!"
'He's totally henpecked!' Both Takuto and Suiko thought, sweat dropping.
"Okay, cut it off you two!" Takuto stood and slammed his hands on the desk. "If it's an accident, then Aichi doesn't have to be arrested. But if he really did, then forgive him! Now out of my room."
"Y-yes!" Aichi stood and ran out.
Kourin followed and snatched one of the guard's spear and chased Aichi.
"Those two really get along," Takuto said and sighed, putting his hands on his head.
"Don't mind them, they're going to get used to it. It's just Kourin being sensitive." Suiko said with a giggle.
Takuto smiled to himself and looked at the window.
"Well, I think everything will be fine."
Suiko only nodded in response. They had another peaceful conversation, and mostly about the wedding preparations.
Oh, and don't worry about the royal couple. They're fine, mostly Aichi.
